Petrichor, I am contrite. I have donned sackcloth and ashes (might help with my WI tonight :D ). My brain was clearly addled by the wafting smell of fish & chips that came through my open window as I was posting.
In the name of radley I ask for your forgiveness

PS you look soooo good in those size 10 shorts...

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks to all for the advice to steer clear of Sureslim for the time being (and your kind offers to relieve me of my cash!:rotfl: ). I am going to a presentation tomorrow morning, but will NOT be taking a plastic card with me so no chance of being brainwashed into paying and joining. But I am intrigued to hear more about it, and I'll let you know what they say ... £490 for a year of support.

I DO know what not to eat and what to eat, I just lack won't-power.:o

I'm really cheered up by this thread. Clearly some very successful people with significant losses. Thanks for the suggestion to stop thinking of the whole lot and concentrate on a five pound chunk. (Chunky is what I am) How do I get on the list for weighing in?

Any advice for what to eat for lunch? I'm OK at breakfasts, dinner seems to be worth makng an effort for but lunch is a challenge. What do you eat in the middle of the day?

I've just chuckled my way through 12 pages of posts. I really must make more of an effort to pop in every day though - I caught up 7 pages at work and the rest just now :D

A big welcome to all newly joined people - hope you stay with us and I wish you every success :T

Congrats on the weight losses this week. On saying that I can only remember Retiredlady and efreize because they have both seemed to be struggling recently.

Nice photos and way to go guys

I've lost this week but I must also have caused some confusion (probably between joining SW and leaving SW again) so if you would please just put in down for 1/2 lb loss this week lois the chart will be a true up to date reflection.

Don't know about clothes shopping (I still haven't bought any new clothes for my trip to America) but my shoe size has definitely gone down :j . I always buy Faith shoes and it used to be a size 6 but they were all too big today so I had to buy (a couple of pairs of :rotfl: ) size 5.

Trust victory to loose weight on holiday!!!

Off to do some boring working out costs for home insurance. I really need to get a grip on this immediately. Got a printout to help cost each room but the first thing I did was calculate my games. Now I don't have many of them but the replacement value is somewhere in excess of £1.200. I don't think I'll be telling the hubby how much I've wasted over recent years
