the rice I use is Tesco Basmati (Value of course). It's the lowest GI rice other than wholegrain and I use it because I don't have time to steam rice for 20 + minutes to make it edible.... Yes, I do weigh all portions of rice. I know that 60g uncooked weight is 3 points (but need to double check) but I almost always have 75g instead to make sure I don't get too hungry. And no - I don't use kidney beans but only because I don't like them - I use baked beans. Along with some cinnamon and cloves it gives the chilli a lovely flavour.
ajax and bails - a case of dehli belly is totally different to dellybelly lol. I don't think anyone would want to try using my method of getting a flatter tummy - it involves getting sliced and diced and usually ends up giving you an overhang!:rotfl:Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

... do you know off hand the points value for a bag of Tesco Steam Rice, the ones which comes frozen, 4 little bags to a packet? Those are invaluable to me at work as I can microwave them quickly and without hassle.0 -

rest assured Ajax I've been counting points since Monday of last week and have lost 2.5lbs. I've only weighed in today instead of yesterday because I wanted to use Tuesday as my regular weigh in day. I know Lois posts the chart on a Wednesday, but it's not always easy for me to post my weight before the chart gets posted.
so Lois 2.5lbs off for me this week! Not bad for a first week and not really trying over the weekend.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

...now that's nice and encouraging delly, well done. I wish I had better scales at home now... my electronic ones only go up (well, hopefully down) in whole pounds.0 -

ajaxgeezer wrote: »..... wanna buy my 2lb gain?
Ooh, I'll tell you what.... I've just had me dindins and so far have used only 9.5 of my 29 points WW allowance. I think I'm gonna cope with this plan, as long as it actually removes the weight........ it would be disappointing to stay within daily points and not lose
Well, I would take it off your hands but I got a 3lb gain going on myself, don't think I could handle 5!!
Points sound like they're working for you, and judging by other people's posts looks like a good move. In which case, you can definitely keep your 2 lb mate!:DThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
