    Hi guys

I am offically joining you today, I aim to loose 50 lb in total and 10 in august!
Only two big facts are known for certain: you are on a large, spinning rock hurtling through lonely space at about 67,000 mph, and one day your body is going to die. Will a new pair of shoes really help? :p

Weight at lightbulb moment 13 7lb
goal for Christmas 12 7lb! :rotfl:

Ok heres my lentil curry recipe i am doing this week:D

lentil curry - serves 4 - 306 cals per portion

    8oz onion, chopped
    6oz carrot, chopped
    2 sticks celery
    4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    4 tsp curry powder
    8tsp low fat spread
    4 tsp flour
    12oz tomatoes, skinned and chopped
    seasoning
    1 and 1/4lbs cooked lentils, 8oz uncooked
8oz hot, cooked long grain rice(3oz uncooked)

1.Saute onion, carrot, celery and garlic in marg til tender.

2.Add curry and flour and cook stirring for 2 minutes, add tomatoes and seasoning( you could add in lettuce/lemon juice if you wish)

3.Bring gently to boil and simmer for 10 mins, serve at once with the rice.

I am sure you know more about this than me but this really does not look like a lot of food at all. Do you have any protein with your salad or it is just veg? I thought you are supposed to eat more if you burn loads of calories in the gym. I reckon you are burning in the gym the equivalent to what you eat in the day leaving you not so much for general healthy living. Does anyone else think that? Also, it is amazing that you have lost so much (even in the last month) as you must be building up muscle big time (which we all knows weighs more than fat). You are so focussed. Well done again to you for your big milestone achieved last week.

After yo-yoing around for a while I am now determined to lose some weight now. So this week I am very proud to say (for the first time in ages) that I have lost 4 pounds. I am with Weight Watchers and got weighed yesterday. I do partly think that some of this weight loss is due to the fact that I have lighter clothes on this week than last, but he ho its got me off on the right track. So if I could join you all on the August challenge that would be brill.
