I am sure you know more about this than me but this really does not look like a lot of food at all. Do you have any protein with your salad or it is just veg? I thought you are supposed to eat more if you burn loads of calories in the gym. I reckon you are burning in the gym the equivalent to what you eat in the day leaving you not so much for general healthy living. Does anyone else think that? Also, it is amazing that you have lost so much (even in the last month) as you must be building up muscle big time (which we all knows weighs more than fat). You are so focussed. Well done again to you for your big milestone achieved last week.
To be honest I dont really know and I think I am falling in the trap of watching what I eat too much. Monday tends to be a 'lighter' day as Sunday was a big dinner 2 pork chops, boiled potato and veg.
Today so far
Breakfast - Crunchy Nut cornflakes with skimmed milk
Lunch - Bowl Veg curry with leftover potato, no rice
Snack Muller Yogurt
Gym 21 min Cyc Level 13 414
25 min Cross Trainer Level 10 500
Total 46 min 914 Calories
Muscle wise the thighs are getting biggerI just need to relax a little more often and take the input to around the 2000 mark on a Gym day

I'm a newbie on this thread too and everyone really seems lovely and supportive!
Suggs, I hope you don't mind me butting in on your conversation - it does seem as if you're eating very little considering your output. Can I ask if you're going to the gym every day? It's absolutely fantastic that you've lost so much weight and an incredible achievement, please make sure you are staying healthy too. I'm not sure which plan you are following but if you eat protein with every meal your body stays fuller for longer. Enough protein will also ensure that you are not using up your body's protein supplies too quickly with your exercise.
I think I'm right in thinking you're a male and 2000 calories on gym days doesn't seem much to me.

Evening Peeps :hello:
Just had my SW weigh in and I can report a 1lb gain. But this is ok - I am on Dr ordered virtual bedrest at the mo so expected a slight gain. If fact my own scales in the morning show me as staying the same so if I stick to plan for the next rocky few weeks hopefully my weight will roughly maintain.
OH & I are about to celebrate life with a rare takeway of Fish & chips. I'm going to bloody well enjoy them and then back to day 1 tomororow.
As you said earlier Ajax, this is a marathon not a sprint :beer: .

Evening All :hello:
I'm really annoyed with myself - I was a bit fed up last night so had (takes a big breath) A magnum, a big piece of banana soda bread, 1 curly wurly, and a french fancy, all on top of my full points allowance:eek:
I should have logged on here and got some sensible advise but all I wanted to do was eat rubush.
I think its partly that I'm a bit fed up with work at the moment (all I seem to do is look at spreadsheets _pale_) also partly to do with not seeing the weighloss that I think I should have seen in the past few weeks. I lost 3 lb one week and then less than a lb each week since which is a bit demoralising when I do exercise 5 times a week and stick to my points allowance faithfully. The other thing that I think I was struggling with was trying to save up points to use on a meal out.
Anyway - I'm back on track today (so far :rotfl: ) so today is Day one.
Sorry for the moan - going back to catch up on your posts now

Hi Everyone
Weighed myself this morning and I've managed to lose another 0.8lb, not much you might think, but it has taken me to below 81/2 stones(8st6.6lbs to be precise) which is my psychological point. When I first joined here I set my target at 9st as I didn't think that I'd be able to get down to 81/2st, but here I am :j and as usual, this morning, I put £5 in my jar which now has a grand total £150 :dance: :dance: :dance: I think now that I can ease up a bit and get down to some serious maintaining, I don't want to exceed 81/2 again and 9 st will be the absolute maximum but only if it's the first weigh in after xmas or a holiday...
Wow - Well done, I wish I had your will power.

Hi everyone and welcome to all the newbies. I am quite new on here too and everyone is reallysupportive.
Well back from Barcelona and didn't make the July challenge, but did stay the same so I am well pleased with that as I DID have much more alcohol than I intended and for some reason ate oodles of pasta.....................and icecream.
Can I join the AUGUST Challenge and hopefully will be back on to the straight and narrow after a lovely break.0
