Okay forgive me - I know there was one other Tortie this month who got debt free and I have forgotten who it was......**oh for shame*.. can someone help me out and tell me who joins Clippy_Girl and Shyspender?“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0

This is amazing... I love it! Well done for taking the plunge!! I love the fact OH is helping you with the rules for April! So proud... :T:T:T
She's really good at helping me. Asks me why I am going somewhere and if I really need to. Keeps track of my SFD's and other points of the challenges. She also feels guilty if I buy stuff for her, even though I budget her visits and stuff.Feb NST #4

Well done Shyspender.
We have had a SFD today, a lazy morning followed by a strenuous afternoon cycling, everybody and his dog was out on the cycle path today, we haven't had much sun but it is quite mild and dry.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Fell off the wagon.
Last weekend and this weekend, definitely no :money: going on.
So frustrated with myself!
It happens when I stop checking in, I should know this... It all goes well until I stop coming on MSE, then I fall out of good habits and into "well it's only £20". Those £20s mount up!!!!!!
Off to find the April thread.... Hopefully I'll make some progress next month!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Another NSD acquired, as I was too tired from dd's show yesterday to dare to venture out. I think I've hit my target there.
Next month I want to tighten the budgets and do April on less. I'm enjoying setting my own rules, tho they probably don't show much imagination and have no doubt been cribbed from previous challenges!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Evening all,
Congratulations shyspender
SFD number 15 today. Not going to reach my target of 18 though as I have run out of days
Very productive day here but again I am knackered and definitely not ready to go back to work tomorrowWe have finally emptied the garage
and have decluttered heaps of stuff to the tip and the bin. I need the bin men to come tomorrow so I can start filling the wheelie bin again. I am determined to throw out more items before we refill the garage in a couple of weeks.
I feel like NSK is trying to teach us to be self-sufficient with the April challenge. Its like have the stabilisers taken off on your first bike, and if we succeed then we will be ok to get a big bike (when she leaves for travelling).
Hope you've all had a lovely weekendLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
