Evening all,
Congratulations MrsGSR, that is fantastic news!
Today is a very weird day. It is my payday but I am very grumpyI think it is because I really want to payoff my ccard. I have most of the money needed sat in my account but I need to keep hold of it in case I need to pay some tradesmen in cash
Its a long story and I probably sound really ungrateful, but the work that is being done, is not at my request and someone else is paying the bill, but it seems like I am going to end up contributing to the cost. If it was all my decision, I would not have the work done and would concentrate on reducing my debt, but its a complicated situation.
As it is payday, I have done the food shopping, got petrol and took one of the dogs to the vets. So a very spendy day too.
Hope you are all having happier more successful daysLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Evening All,
Huge congratulations MrsGSR, massive pats on the back in order!
Apologies for not posting yesterday, I passed out on the sofa once again - not a good habit, another evening wastedOn a more positive note, it was a SFD yesterday!
Spendy day today tho, so am now slightly over budget - I think I can hang on until the end of the month, I only popped out to get milk & butter, but couldn't resist a free range chicken reduced to £3, plus hot X buns. I've kept all my receipts for this month, and it's been interesting looking thro them as I've seen lots of examples where I could be spending less.
Totals so far
13/15 SFD's
£94.16/£100 groceries incl cat food
14/18 LTW
£20/£40 petrol
30/30 donations/declutter
I get paid tmrw, but I don't get any of it as it's all allocated to bills so I can't get excited about it anymore!

Morning all.
A HUGE congratulations Mrs GSR :j :j :j You really do deserve it :T Make sure you go on the debt free roll of honour and request that chain thing for your signature!
Well yesterday was a spendy day, I bought some raisins as apparently they are a good source of Iron and I need as much of it as I can get. I'm a bit on edge today as my son goes to the airport tonight to stay over with girlfriend at a travelodge, then flies out tomorrow. It's the first holiday when he's on his own, but he will be fine. So why do I feel like it's his first day at school
My accounts are badgone over by 76.00 this morning, so borrowed from the little fella and he will be paid back on friday when I get paid!
I know what you mean Siannie-my wages are already allocated, but it will not be foreverIf we weather this storm now, we will in no time graduate to debt free :T
Have a great day everyone:):A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
congratulations Mrs GSR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
that is superb! eek! watching so many people becoming debt free it is amazing!
well - it's OH's payday today so I'm quite excited about my next stage of debt busting! But got to wait until my pay on Monday before I can pay rent and essential bills and then the rest goes to debts. No spending on haircuts this month or anything else - we are going to be tighter than a middle-aged mans speedos on the beach!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
did a shop last night because everything was on offer than we needed to stock up on so it made sense, so in theory, apart from fruit and veg, we have enough for the month and so does little kitty! (fingers crossed!)
Gosh - I'm already thinking I'm in next month and I need to rack up three more NSDs to reach my targetThink OH will buy some tobacco today so this won't be one but I don't see any reason for us to buy anything for the rest of the month!
Can't get ahead of myself!
Everyone have a good day - I'm off for a giant mug of :coffee:

Morning.
A SFD planned here today and should make my total of 19 for the month just.
I have been to the bank this morning and withdrawn cash for the kids activities for April, their spending money and family spending money. My month runs from 26th (payday) to 25th. I have started a new grocery budget now and have allowed extra money due to the Easter holidays, we are going away for 1 week and will be taking food with us plus a few extra bits plus the kids will be at home for the other week too so I would rather budget for a bit more and come in under rather than go over and feel fed up about it.
I have made my monthly debt repayments today totaling £739.78 and have updated my signature with the new debt total. I always leave a £30 buffer in our current account just in case plus there is a further £50 in there too, if we don't need it I will transfer that to the car account for upcoming expenses e.g. insurance, mot and tax all due in summer.
I posted out 4 ebay parcels today but the buyers paid the postage so not a spend, I also went to Boots and bought 1/2 price suncreams for us all using points. Washing is out on the line, I am about to start work then lunch, dog walk, bike ride and then the school run. I will make bread today too, tea is already prepared, my Avon order is due today so will sort that tonight for delivery Friday. A very productive morning so far.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Afternoon everyone
Another step closer to payday! My payslip has been printed and I'm counting the days....
Mega congratulations Mrs GSR :T:T:T:T:T So pleased for you!
I had a quick supermarket trip last night so no SFD there, and today I need to post a parcel to my mum for Mother's Day so today's a spend day too! I made a frivolous £1 spend on a bunch of daffodils, they look so cute and really brighten up the kitchen!
I have a friend coming to stay on Friday so I'm frantically cleaning all the places that never really get a proper clean when you're busy all day every day! I had to put the heating on though cos it's freezing! Where did the sun go???
I have two items ending on ebay tonight - one has a bid and one doesn't, so hopefully that'll be a few extra ££ in my bank account.
Don't think I have much else to report. How's everyone else doing?0 -
SFD here even though my poor doggy needs doggy biccies sure she will put up with ginger biscuits for a day.
Spent another 18 pounds on food yday. However did get lots of half price veg and half price beef joint marked down to a fiver, slipped in some wine into my basket as well. oops
Went to pics last night with my daughter saw Wolf on Wallstreet, 3 hrs long!! In lot of pain today with my back, so lots of stretching and hot bath tonight, it was funny but even my daughter commented on the f word in every sentence.
This months challenge has been a failure by me. Next month I want a tough one please Kat. I have to clear one credit card by end June so going to knuckle down so hard next few months. Stocktake of my cupboards/freezer planned for the weekend - then going to meal plan my life away:rotfl:LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Calling14 - I find that nearly every film I watch over uses the f word which makes people think it is acceptable to use in everyday conversation where ever they are. We watched a film on Sky called This is the End - it was a 15 rating and was one long f word and totally glorified the use of drugs. I was appalled.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
