NSK;The Tortoise and The Mad MARCH Hare!!!

I have a plan, and to be honest, the tortoise inspired me!! Instead of dropping £20 from my food budget, I'm going to raise it by £20 (to just above where I am coming in this month, and was last month).
But then...I'm going to keep the same budget period going throughout April, so my larger budget (£80) is to last 2 months! This will enable me to re-stock with some variety and buying sensible sized bags of staples like pasta. Its made do-able because DD and I are both away for 7 days on holiday (grub then will be coming out of holiday funds) and then I'm away (and DD is with her Dad) on a course for 6 nights, food included, both during April. We have a few nights in March where we are hosting friends, but then we go to them in April, so it works out better long term.
I'm also going to go for a £10 drop in my fuel budget. Be interesting to see how re-starting the cycle commute to work works out! (Just hope it doesn't make me lots hungrier)
Sorry to mess with the rules on day 1 Kat! Can I still stay??0 -

Been MIA the last few months, different issues, so I would like to rejoin you all in March.
Every Friday, Sunday and Monday will be nsd, I will pay my cc (I only have one now) on the first and I will spend £25 a week on food and £15 a week on fuel. Not sure if it's doable but I will be trying my hardest!
