:hello:
Hello all! I'm in please, for the first time in ages.
I've been tracking my spending for the last two months, and have realised that I haven't actually been acknowledging my attitude to money, and how much I owe (mostly as it is to family and/or at 0%) I've been going through my budgets and varying DFDs.
So, I am aiming for:
15 SFDs
£80 grocery budget
£90 spends budget

Numbering will continue tomorrow morning.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0

Count me in too Kat!
My first thought was, there is NO WAY I can take more from my food budget. I stripped £20 off it last month, watched every single penny, and have come in £15 over, with less left to start the month than I had last month IYKWIM. But then I started thinking - I'm not at the back of the cupboard quite yet, and the meals that I do have in the freezer are all quite bulky things (pasta sauce etc). So I'm going to ponder the £20, do a meal plan, combining my planning with our calendar. It will come from somewhere, but currently the fuel budget feels more of a target than the food one (I am just well enough to cycle to work again)...DD and I have to eat!! She is doing fine (after all, is at her dads 3 nights a week usually) but I feel scurvy coming on if we cut the fresh stuff any further, and we need the joining together things - onions, tinned toms etc.0 -
