MCD doesnt seem to be too bad with my network, although it could be the calm before the storm.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I've been asking our lot what they want said on which documents to who in which circumstances and when since November last year - responses so far = "we are working on it" !
Trigold give me a different story on what they are releasing and when every time I ask - a batch of ESI (what is the plural of ESIS ?) turned up on the system today with all sorts of errors.
Still awaiting any sight of a 2nd charge sourcing system to evaluate (although I believe MBrains may have come out today) and build into our processes.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. My compliance have said there will be news shortly also. Until then, business as usual.
With regards to second charges, we pass them out to Fluent or Brightstar. I have always done that anyway so no changes there for me personally.
The new documents are a little more confusing I think, I have had 2 this week one with natwest and another with Skipton. That was fun going through them, I looked like a brand new broker.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Agree fully as its business as usual - but the implementation of the new documents processes is considerable work on an automated or semi-automated system and the whole implosion is just 3 1/2 weeks away !
We have opted to 'advise' on second charges - if for no other reason than want to keep the 'independent' title (But I also think that second charge will become an integral part of the mortgage product in the coming years).
I just spent half a day writing our customer explanation of the different formats (based on Trigold's previous absolute confirmation that they would be producing KFIs until 21MAR and then switch in a 'big bang') to find out today that they have started to introduce lender KFI+s and ESI (my best guess of the plural) to be given an amended policy version yesterday and a third (totally different) version today.
Our new document set (let alone back office processes) are supposed to include new charging regime, switch of corporate identity (approved firm etc) - all of which have 3-6 weeks approval cycle (before you include the websites) and we have 3.5 weeks left. Whole project to be replanned this weekend !!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I've decided to leave MSE, just wanted to say bye to everyone that is fighting the good fight.
I shall be looking for a new website to bother while I am stuck on hold to the various lenders that are aware I am waiting, and value my business!
Good Luck allI am a Mortgage Adviser
