We use (and have for over 5 years) in/out fax from PC - excellent, BUT be aware that many will not send to non-geographic numbers and Natwest/RBS will not give out the geographic behind the 0845).
Ours costs £5 a month a month including an 0800 inbound number and more pages than we ever use.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I use https://www.aql.com
Costs me £2 per month.
I send Natwest stuff in special delivery. At least you know it will get there and the postage is cheaper than trying to send a fax.
Antiquated way but they offer decent service.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I think i have just faxed it using my printer/fax machine thing.
I have no idea of being 100% sure it has sent though until it gets to the point they should have looked at it... bit frustrating.

We've been e-mailing them for some time, although it is a pilot and obviously being in a National EA chain (boo), has some benefits
I'm sure with the introduction of MMR they'll be looking at a MATS system and online / e-mail access as a basic function for all brokers.0 -

ACG do you work from a small panel of lenders? There are many lenders who still only accept faxed documentation. Ridiculous in this age.0

No, im whole of market.
I must just not have come across any... the only exception being a tiny little building society out in the sticks. Even they allowed me to email them across but would not go to full offer until the originals were received.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Halifax and NatWest are both stuck with faxed and posted docs, two of the lenders we use the most.
Woolwich makes me laugh though. You scan and upload the docs to them via "scan and send", then another firm prints your scanning and re-scans it and adds it to the case.
That's why they often say they can't read it. What a mental system!I am a mortgage broker. Principality print off documents emailed over and then rescan them - waste of ink and paper and they often say they cant read things and your going mad because its crystal clear, you then email them directly the same document the exact same scan and they can read it... mental!
How any reputable broker can not use an email or upload system now a days is beyond a joke.
To be just trialling it after emails have been in common use for best part of 10 years is ridiculous.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
