Is it a secret?
I have a fee agreement which says i will charge £xxx, that fee is only chargeable on offer of a mortgage however if after DIP or recommendation of a product/provider (whichever is sooner) you decide to pull out there will be a fee of £xxx.

Telling the builders/EA who the lender is.

Not a necessity obviously else you wouldn't be doing the jobs you're in; just a suggestion to save you being hassled every time by Estate Agents and giving a further objection to EAs trying to convince the buyers to use them instead of yourselves.
It's not a secret necessarily but it's probably better safe than sorry with regards to declaring whom I work for.0 -

No different to them asking to see a copy of the DIP, its all on there.

Perhaps I haven't explained myself very well..?
Our mortgage certificates literally produce a dated document which gives 90 days (typically), the clients names and the borrowing amount + deposit shown as a total figure.
If you print a certificate at £250k, and they're intent on offering £250k, I'm not sure why there would be an issue? Doesn't give the lenders name or any additional information.0 -
