Joint app, mr had an IVA a few years back. Its referred at app.
Their incomes are 60% basic, 40% commission, although it has passed affordability with some room to spare.
TBH I can't imagine any lender was going to give you an easy ride.

50% shared ownership case, 95% so Leeds only.
Been trying to get our completed data capture form back from client so I could work on the case. It finally arrived yesterday.
App 2 is in a DMP, so it's App 1 sole.
It just about fitted on affordability, so submitted DIP last night. Got a "refer" so not completely hopeless...
Fast forward to this morning and my email "declined - adverse and income."
Asked client to obtain credit file and we have an undisclosed £295 per month credit agreement and an unsatisfied default for £880.

Two days later, please resend bank statements, we can't read the first lot.
Re-scanned and uploaded, as requested.
Asked BDM how long to get turned around. Five working days. He asked me for the upload date/time of the first lot. Checked and said they could be read, so couldn't understand why we were asked to do it again.

This is why i always ask for credit reports when i first speak to clients so they have it for when we do the factfind.
