    Basically, it's MMR.

They'd like to pull all their products for two weeks and do nothing so they can get straight.

    BDM said this today.

Why is it other lenders seem to be coping quite comfortably with little fuss and equally good, if not better products and better service?

The issues of the past are far from resolved. Contraction of credit by some lenders is inevitable. Mutual lenders will continue to grow while the big banks contract. More of 2013 in other words.
Nah. It's a MMR policy thing.

They want to lend buckets this year.

They just don't want to lend anything in the next few weeks!

Im now moaning about nationwide (Im blaming Dave on this one :P)... Im not moaning about them as they are looking at a case everyone else would decline outright but their processes. I have had 4 phone calls to say they want something extra.

4 phone calls from 4 different people because they all have th same job but looking at different things. Im sure every other lender looks at the case before giving you a list of anything additional they want.

You have done the right thing Tony, honest.

Better they question and satisfy them now without the wheels coming off later.

They did downvalue one of ours earlier though which meant the client could only borrow £399k and not the £400k requested for the loan to value product. Rather than offer and check, they e-mailed and now in the offer queue...!

    Fingers crossed ACG
