    10 months to Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Children decluttered to school.

For some reason I am starving this morning!

We have no milk or bread now so OH it away to shop hopefully on the way back.

I have a few letters to post and a couple of phone calls to catch up on.. I'm knackered, I've been up every hour or so with Pixie.. growth spurt time I think.. though she is sounding a bit rattley and wheezy at night..

My Dad was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in November

Sorry to hear about that Sammiell, my consultant Prof. Pamela Shaw does a lot of research in motor neurone disease, my good friend Joan (who is in her 80s, has been in her care for a number of years) and I both think she is excellent and if you can wangle a referral to her at the Royal Hallamshire in Sheffield I would highly recommend it.

Here is what is left to do

Monday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar
Give keyboard and mouse a good clean - photograph your keyboard on your phone, remove all the keys and wash in warm soappy water - when dry put back (glad you took that picture!)

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Sweep and mop the floor - could't let the mop brigade down
Clean the hob, under all the dials too
Alternatively trim and paint your trotters.
Help DS2 pack his case for outdoor centre visit (write his name on everything first)

Well done to Deco and Valli, how did the Camra meet go LW? Pigpen! That is all!

    Have a good day Flypeeps.

  • Morning all.
Not done much flying this morning. Kids all at school and I've set the dishwasher going (forgot to press the button last night so cant really count it as todays).
Emptied both airers ready for filling again.
Should have walked the pup but going to wait until dh gets up and might have a walk round Chatsworth (or just somewhere different) while it's not looking too bad out.

I've had a coffee and breakfast and watched way too many soaps (got 2 weeks to catch up on as dh been off work).

Giving myself until half 10 and going to make a start.

Just back from the vets. Miss Muddy Paws has had her booster jabs.
My eye is really itchy probably due to the fierce looking dog in the waiting room.
DS2 was on one this morning, meltdown and screaming.
  • Here again haven't achieved much yet had a shower my nurse has just been
Thanks for all your comments about Dad I should clarify that he died on the 2nd of February 2 months after diagnosis we had the funeral last week, money saving I might add I managed to save mum about £800, hence the extra time on my hands Lemanie we were offered an appointment but it wasn't meant to be.
I'm going to try any sort this house a bit today and crack on with the new one tomorrow I think

    Afternoon

    Daily stuff done
Was sunny so had planned to do a bit of gardening, but it is now chucking it down.
Meter readings done still waiting to hear back from e.on as to how I used £160 worth of gas and elect is 2 weeks! Might be time to look to changing providers but I think they are much of a muchness in their charges. I am still in credit with them, but I really feel something is not right.

    Off to do the ironing.

LW.. did Mr LW try the Elder Scrolls online beta??? it looks really good!! graphics are splendid.. If he likes Skyrim he may well like that too, though the actual full game is not out for a while.
No, we haven't tried that. It's MMORPG, isn't it? We've never got into those at all.:o
With the MRI scan, he has to drink a preparation before it. Because of his illness he feels sick a lot anyway and he really struggled with it last time. There is no real way of getting around this, I am hoping that bribery works and have said we will take him to the shops and buy him something afterwards!! Any suggestions welcome though.
When I've had MRI scans, I've always invoked the spirit of Badger to look after me (I'm severely claustrophobic, and Badger being an underground type of creature, can lead me through the experience, iyswim). I'll happily invoke him to help your DS1, if he wishes.:o Can't think of anything else I can offer, unfortunately.

    Afternoon all

Flying failing so far this week but making good paperwork progress so need to stick with that for the minute.

    Another bed stripped
    WM2 on
    Kitchen tidied and wiped

Not a total flop but could do better. Be back late.
