Good evening ladies.
Sh1tty day.
Not done much flying as there is too much clutter everywhere. I've had to ask 3 times for the 3 oldest kids to put all their bathroom paraphernalia in the wash bags Santa brought them. I have warned them that anything remaining is heading towards the bin.
I had no childcare so I couldn't go to Pilates this evening. To say I have been let down is putting it mildly.
Did you get a new cossie Ionafan? I can't believe the bargain Bossy got! I'd buy a lotto ticket as your luck is on the up!
Sorry your friend was low Dusty. How did the phone call go?0 -
Ah, it's good to be back.....I knew lurking would help.
I cannot renew missing library book, as it has had maximum amount of renewals and I got a letter from the library asking for it. But I did renew some of the other library books, and made a pile of the books DS wants to return. I may just go with credit card in hand and apologise profusely, then pay the cost of the book (hope it's not than a fiver) then hopefully it will stop the BD digging away at me.
Did a mini-sort on my hotspot - one months worth of unopened post. Now sorted into recycling, junk, secure destruction, then a straight to filing pile and a must action pile......feels soooooo much better now I have extracted my head out of the sand.
Parents evening tonight for DD3, which wasn't too bad. Options evening on Tuesday, so I am looking forward to that like a whole in the head.
Right time to catch up on some online TV and then sleep!
Nighty night flyladies and flygentsThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Did you get a new cossie Ionafan?
Yes, from TKM@x - it only cost £9.95 which I think is a bargain! :money: It fits well too and makes me less curvy than the other two that I tried on which were at least double the price
Ironing still not done. I sat down with a :coffee: and fell asleep...
Can't see the Northern lights here
Well done for dealing with your post, Skinty. Does your DS like the missing book so much that he has hidden it? Did you check under car seats and in empty shopping bags?
Goodnight all.0 -
Hello again,
My week has become super busy, so haven't managed to get on since my first post. oooppps
saying that have managed to get a grip on my finances this week and have managed to save myself £90 a month to go towards a trip to france to see the inlaws in the summer
The lounge and my bedroom are very nearly sorted and clean, just the rest of the house to organise now lol. Plan on an extra early morning so I can get the cleaning washing put away and get the kitchen sorted before work.
after work will be the normal friday eve dash to get the children to their dads and me to my mans, least then I can relax for 24 hour as we are off to the coast to visit family.

Anyone else shocked at how much gas and electric they use? Hubby is sure we must use more than anyone elseHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

mummyRoys I despair when I walk round the house turning off every light, shutting down computers, turning off radios, and the tv.
my WM and TD are used heavily but the DD amount makes my eyes water. And so does the water bill!0 -

Yep! Our electricity is £96 a month. We spend about £60 a month on our oil central heating, then we buy coal as well.
Skint, dont worry too much about the library book. I lost one of my sons and they didnt charge me. I eventually found it but was too scared to go back and hand it in!
Need to sort our bedroom today, will also get some food shopping on the way home from work to save me doing it over the weekend. Just making a shopping list now.
Oh and work to do on both jobs today so its going to be busy. Have a good day everyone x0 -
We also use what i think is a scary amount of electric, though we dont have Gas. I have to do the same mumof5, running round after the children all the time turning things off. We also have a new fangled supposedly eco heating system that can more than double my bill in the winter
I havent got very far with jobs this morning, didnt get up early as planned, but needed the sleep so not to worried. however kitchen and bathrooms cleaned and tidied and children currently stripping there beds so I can get a wash on, will leave the beds to air out until tomorrow as they go to their dads tonight. I still have a mass of clean washing that needs folding and put away, but at least its clean lol.
Have a good day
