  • After a rather unsuccessful week and trying to lurk but do next to nothing, I thought I would lurk last night and just have a look at Dusty's list with the vague aim of crossing some stuff off.

Skinty is going to get back in the game, as long as something gets done in every room by the end of the weekend, I will be happy, baby steps and all that......

Anyway, trying to catch up on news, Bossy hope that you meet someone nice soon xxx

hugs sticks and spoons to all in need......right where is that strike key when you need it :rotfl:

Monday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar

    [STRIKE]15 minutes tidying this area[/STRIKE]
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
Clean the downstairs loo and basin
    Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
Give keyboard and mouse a good clean - photograph your keyboard on your phone, remove all the keys and wash in warm soappy water - when dry put back (glad you took that picture!)
Go on a cobweb hunt, is it dusty behind your desk

    Decluttering
Sort out that pile of papers/magazines/catalogues and recylce what you can
Delete some emails, favourites, blurry photos you choose
Sort out a stationery or desk drawer - do you need all those rubber bands and envelopes

    Decluttering
    Sort out a hotspot

Do you have any pet pest control you may need for when the bugs awaken? currently have a trail of ants wandering around in my porch, so I will need to get on that
Charge that epilady or warm your wax, it's time to declutter your winter fur. Alternatively trim and paint your trotters.

I spent some time sniping last night on ebay next size clothes for DD4, so I will need put out a milk carton for my GUAG so I can get straight otherwise she will be mixing both sizes through the wash and I will never be straight:rotfl:

Right, I should really hunt for one of DS missing library books, as a cursory look around has not found it........Does anyone know if you loose a library book on a child's ticket, what is the worst that will happen?
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • Just keep renewing it and hope it turns up but if we do our library doesn't mind
Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T
  • im sure if its a book on a childs ticket you dont get charged if you lose it. renew it and have another look thats what i do and they usually appear.

Dh has changed brushes in our WM in the past LW they are just little bits that clip on either side of the motor. i think its one of the cheaper easier repairs.

    Hi all

Docs were good we're trying a different one for her as she's on max dose for the other, so we've to try this for a few weeks then go back for a review. She's nibbled a bit today but still drinking so that's good.

Then we went to my mums and took her to M&S and I got DS some vests (ooh need to put a superDS sign on front of one ;)) and me some brassieres, plus I found some ballet pumps I like, £30 but they rang through at 1p !!! I was so distracted with DD being daft it didn't really click straight away. Very :money:

Right. I'm off to find some felt for DS outfit...

Thankyou Mumof2 for justifying my earlier whinge ;) Today has been busy busy, I have been recommended to another elderly couple so I went to visit them after customer #1, ran home and stuffed a sandwich down my neck in double quick time before rushing off to customer #2. Dashed from there to the C00p, them to collect DS2 and had to pick up DSD on the way home, she has a travel pass so why she has to be picked up and dropped off everywhere is a mystery to me.

Got in about 5 minutes ago, now have to prepare three dinners (boys are having tomato and wild mushroom sauce with pasta but DSD has now decided she also doesn't like tomatoes  so I need to freezer rummage and see of there's anything she WILL eat in there  DH and I are having a YS pork strips, YS noodles and YS stir fry veg :money:

And I need to vacuum, dust the LR (it's grot-tastic), S&S bathroom and kitchen, WUDUPA and have a shower and get ready to go out by 6.30.

    Easy peasy

    ETA Skinty :hello:
