  • Morning flyladies

Two stints at the paid stuff again today, but a split shift which I hate :( I end up with just over an hour at home in between customers and I rarely achieve anything. If someone would like to prod me around 11.30 I would appreciate it!

BD is nipping my ankles again. I was fine yesterday until around 8pm when my mood just sank like a stone. Getting fed up of it now.

Out tonight as DSD and DSS have their annual am-dram production. Late night for all concerned. Dreading it already :(

Oh, I need to stop moaning! :) have a good day, all xx

I'm fed up *huff, sigh* :( My GUAG has left the building :( DD2 is off school, I'm worried about her attendance as we got in trouble before for low attendance (all due to illness), she's full of cold and can't hear so how can I send her to school? I've just phoned the Dr and can't get her an appointment til next Monday!!
I had a job interview yesterday. I don't think it went very well :( Didn't help that the advert never said it was a zero hour contract. Which basically means it's as and when they need you  and the job is mostly seasonal so work though the summer but come September . . .? The woman doing the interview said that one woman who was doing 40 hour weeks is down to 12 hours when they're not busy  I can't live on that, I wouldn't even get tax credits! I'm now hoping I don't get offered the job :(
I had a call from the "back to work" woman to check on my interview and to tell me I've been "selected" to do some type of course, which is for 13 days! Bare in mind it's mandatory  so I doubt I was selected and I have to a meeting at 3.30 today  I could really do without it :(

My lists are too long to post :( so I'm just going to get on with it . . .

FizzWhizz you're not moaning, just saying how you're feeling. We all have days when we feel like that ((hugs)). I'm throwing a bit stick for your BD to chase - I can throw a long way!

Ionafan your list is big and you always seem to achieve a lot. Think I could do with some of your motivation! Yay to afternoon naps; they're the best I think.

Kazwookie that's very organised drawing up a 30 day plan. I've been to Cadbury World with DH's nephew who was 8 at the time (he's now 18). It was a Cubs trip and him and me are the worst travellers ever so we were drugged up with anti sickness meds and sat at the front of the coach. Had a lovely time! Happy days .......

Mumto5 I think you should listen to your body and just rest. Hope DS3 being off colour doesn't come to anything major.

Just the two of us grrr to coughing in the night; it's the worst isn't it. Maybe you could rest a bit and try to catch up on your sleep.

Dropped DS off at school and for the first time ever didn't take him right up to the door, I was at the end of the building, gave him a kiss and his book bag and told him to go on in. He's in Yr 2 and goes to Juniors in September - I know it's a long way off but I just felt I need to start slightly giving him more independence. We hear which senior school DD has got into on Monday and dreading the email :(. Hard being a Mum isn't it.

Got Pilates at 10 and 2 paid jobs to do but here's the Flying list I have:

hugs good wishes and positive vibes to all who need them

this week is sort of going to pot so im flying off list
Dusty all our govs letters minutes, policies etc come through snail mail so i told them as my kids go to the school send them home with them to save postage they are normally reliable its the first times one of them has not delivered in about 9 years of doing it this way.
we only get emails if its something short notice, would make more sense to do it your way and email everything.

Valli wise choice re contracts, theres no guarantee the job will carry over on a temp one and you lose your hol pay rights etc.

skies clear so going to hang some washing out and hopefully gegt it dry before the snow they are threatening decends

Bossy.. it is usual for small people to not want to eat some days, especially at this age.. even my binny has days of lowered/no appetite.. she might be a bit 'bunged up' and feeling a bit bloated.. She's probably just fine! x

Trust your instinct bossy. If you think a trip to the doc is in order then go. Hope Miss Bossy feels herself again soon.

Lots of wet stuff falling out the sky. Not walking to school today!

Ugh we just got drenched. Stuff is now on airer in front of fire.

Thanks ladies, DD tummy issues stem from infancy - I think she needs a review of her medication, she has grown a lot recently and we haven't been for ages. I'm pretty sure she is bunged up again. She gets like this from time to time and nothing else goes in until something comes out
So they may want to change her dose or even the type. We go in the next hour anyway.

Kazw I haven't forgotten you, your package is all wrapped and good to go, I'm just waiting on something else being ready to take to the PO at the same time. Hoping next week at the latest. X

Valli, they don't deserve you X

    HHC at 10.30 Anyone? I'll attack what's left of my list;
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining RoomDeclutteringAlternatively trim and paint your trotters.
Thursday - Bedrooms - you choose which one
DeclutteringSort tights, socks, and PJs rag-bagging any which have shrunk or are thread bear
Check for signs of moths and declutter any you find
Sort your stash of wrapping, presents, cards to remind you what you have got/need or do not need.

Just checking you're paying attention Lamewolf ;) DS2 is a BIG turtle fan btw, I think he'll enjoy Discworld when he's old enough too. DD is definitely an owl, she keeps putting 'buy an owl and an aviary for it to live in' on my frog list :D
Glad you still have some job security Valli, not to be sniffed at is it?
Sorry to hear about little moo's tummy troubles Bossy, DS2 has always struggled too but he is meds free at the moment. Winter is usually worse for him.
