Pigpen is Teletubbies still on - goodness, that brings back memories! Did you see a while back they had a picture of the girl whose face was the sun when she was a baby, she's very grown up now. Sorry to hear OH's interview didn't go well :(

Mumto5 so sorry to hear you're having family problems re DS1 and college. I hope it settles down soon. How come DH doesn't see what's going on; does DS1 not do it when he's there? Mums always seem to get the worst of it.

Fraggleanne it'd be lovely to have you join us; just do what you can as and when you can and you'll soon see the difference :)

Emily926 hope you feel better today.

Lovely day here. Got CBT at 10 and planning to take Pip with me (she's happy to snooze in the car whilst I'm in the surgery) and then take her to a big local park and blow away some cobwebs. All paid stuff is up to date though I'm expecting more in today so want to do housework too and meeting a friend for coffee at 2. Feeling much better though think anxiety is very closely linked in with PMT so least we know to look out for it.

Another HH on paperwork, lots of people don't have council tax or water bills to pay this month (usually 10/12 payments). Can you save any of this extra cash, pay off a bill etc.

Our council tax and water rates are paid over 12 equal-ish instalments now - I find it easier to budget that way. Think it only came in last year for council tax and you do have to ring to ask the council to change it. I found the extra money for the two free months just got spent!!:o

Have a good day everyone. xx

So sorry for your loss Sammiell, I didn't realise.
Lamewolf; 'wot no'? Sending you post CAMRA speedy recovery of equilibrium vibes.
Valli; maybe LW can invoke the spirit of some hard shelled creature (I'm thinking turtle, tortoise etc) during meetings for you otherwise you may end up looking like a porcupine with so many sharp implements bristling from your back! Alternatively, I find a good potion helps (tea is good but wine might aid forgetfulness) but don't go to any CAMRA meetings to get them! ;)
    To do:
Monday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar
[STRIKE]Give keyboard and mouse a good clean - photograph your keyboard on your phone, remove all the keys and wash in warm soappy water - when dry put back (glad you took that picture!)[/STRIKE]
Ok, so that was a hellish job! Has anyone got any advice about how to easily remove the keys from a Micr0s0ft ergonomic keyboard, they were pinging all over the place! On the plus side, I did enjoy getting all those crumbs out and I didn't need the photo because the keys all had different shaped bottoms and would only fit in their own place.
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Decluttering Alternatively trim and paint your trotters.

Wednesday - Bathroom and airing cupboard
    Clean toilet, sink, shower/bath
    Hoover and wash bathroom floor
    Clean mirrors
    Wipe any dusty surfaces/window ledges
    Deep Cleaning
Hoover out inside your airing cupboard and wipe anything that is dusty

Stop playing washing hokey-kokey, blooming weather.
Remember not to pick up DS2 from school, he's not there :o

LW, I thought the whole idea of CAMRA meetings, was to meet in a local holstery, and 'sample' the local beers etc, I wouldn't be going again either, bluddy daft no drinks at all...................
It's the new chairman. *rolls eyes* He's a complete and utter twonker, (he's offended me royally in the past, in a way that I cannot forgive), and only got the post by default because no-one else wanted to do it - the outgoing chairman has held the post for about 5 years, he originally also took it as no-one else wanted to do it, and says he's had enough now, wants to devote more time to other things, and CAMRA was taking over all his spare time. So we've got this new idiot.:( I gather the next meeting (near the end of March) is to be at a wheelchair accessible hostelry, so we'll see how that goes.
DS1 is complaining as when kids lower down the school get sent to isolation, they are sent in to 6th form lessons and this disturbs them as they won't shut up. 5 were sent into his class today whilst he was sitting an exam. Not on really.
That is completely out of order, imho. 1) It's not isolation; in fact the little horrors probably think it's a good wheeze! 2) It's disrupting the education of the 6th form students, who, one assumes, actually want to learn, which the little horrors obviously do not.

I managed to scrub the loo within an inch of its life last night, so that's all done; I've made lasagne for tonight's dins; there'll be enough for tomorrow also - this was planned so that we just "nuke & eat" tomorrow, as Jessie is arriving at 19:00 tomorrow night, and it just makes life easier.:o

    Afternoon all

    WM1&2 on the line
    Lovely walk in the sunshine
    hour's gardening out the front
    birds fed

Just having a cuppa then I'll force myself to do an hour's flying before I go to get the boys from school. It is cricket miles away tonight so won't be back until nearly 9 so not much more will get done.

Mumto5 hugs - I so hope he sees sense. I've been looking at Apprenticeships this week and there are so so many, but I know it is difficult to get them to apply.

Piggers sorry things did not work out for DH. He is too young to give up though. If what he is trained in doesn't give any opportunities then that tells me that he needs to reconsider his career and try something new.

    Fraggle welcome

LW - thanks it was Dancemum posting, I was replying in the same vein as you

Apologies Dancemum - my eyes are very tired and sore still today, (three hours under fluorescents will do that to 'em) so I'm misreading stuff. My comments stand, though.:o

Oh, and where are my manners - welcome fraggleanne.:o
