Just checking in  been at the paid stuff this morning and really struggled to move, I felt as though I was wading through treacle
But I have just eaten a rather delicious doughnut (in about three bites
) and I'm hoping it'll give me enough energy to get the bathroom cleaned in 20 mins before DS1 gets home.
Better shift myself then0 -
Did you do your bathroom Fizz? Did mine bar the floor. Cooking chicken now for baguettes for us to take to cricket. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I did! This is why I love the Flylady community here, if it hadn't been for this thread I would have sat on my 'arris until DS1 got home. Instead I scrubbed and shined and now you need sunglasses to enter  Considering it was the fourth bathroom I've cleaned today, I'm pleasantly surprised I found enough GUAG to do it 'properly'You're all an inspiration, thankyou xx
Since getting home, I have hung a huge load of washing on the airer (I only have a 4.5kg machine so how it all squeezed in there, I have no idea!) and sorted the ironing pile so I can make a start once the boys have eaten their doughnuts. Flippin' starvin' today, I might eat my own leg before DH gets home.0 -

Its Friday!
Made loads of progress today on paid stuff, so feel quite motivated to do other stuff. Just having a cupasoup then will walk round for littlies. It's fairly clear, if a bit chilly, but they will have hats and mitts.
Day at home tomorrow with DD so a bit of decluttering I think. And try get her in at docs again. Tomorrow night I have a school club committee meeting then going out to meet some friends, and I'm out Friday night too! How very dare I?
Also need to get an outfit together for DS for superhero day. We have some leggings and long sleeve tee he can wear, plus he has his cape that I made him last year, so I'm thinking a pair of shorts over the leggings and perhaps I can knock up a little top with a logo of some sort. I can probably do him a little felt eye mask too with some elastic to hold it on.
FIL will be surprised when he collects them on friday night :rotfl:Bossymoo

Gah. They said DD wouldn't eat her snack tea. Looked in her lunchbox she's eaten only half a banana, half a grape (!) and a yoghurt pouch. That's it. All day. They said they tried to persuade her but she want interested.
Not happy
Asked if she felt poorly and she said no but my tummy is full
Docs it is.Bossymoo

I have a big black dragon.. it appears to have eaten the black dog.. the problem with dragons is their tendency to set things on fire and boy do they make a lot of noise.. and least the BD just sits and growls and snarls.. Anyone got a knight in shining armour to come kill it because my knights armour is looking severely jaded tonight.. ??
Dinner cooked for the ungrateful mutts.. not enough to go round so I'm having cereal later by the looks of things.
Bossy.. it is usual for small people to not want to eat some days, especially at this age.. even my binny has days of lowered/no appetite.. she might be a bit 'bunged up' and feeling a bit bloated.. She's probably just fine! xLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Evening everyone
I had to do a site visit at work this morning which involved lots and lots of walking (for 3 hours). If I sit down in a comfy chair I will go to sleep, then I wont be able to sleep tonight so I need to keep moving!
No excuse not to finish the bathroom then I suppose. Pigpen, I could do with a knight in shining armour too - mine would carry me off into the sunset so I would have to look at dust and mess and laundry that needs doing and work that needs finishing and beds that need changing. Sigh.
On the upside I have been flying for nearly two months now. Which is a record and as Fizz says - you lot are a great motivator.0 -
I will be back to part time working in the Summer.
Looking forward to having the time to have some 'me' time.
Not least because I don't feel have had a proper 'break' for weeks and weeks and weeks.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

My friend text me today to ask if she & our other friend can stay the night at the end of March :T:j They are the first true friends I've ever had and it took me until I was 28 to meet them but they are amazing. Anyway it's a great spur to get the house ship-shape before they come.
:money: I *think* the Ald! voucher is in the M!rror tomorrow :money:
Goodnight all

So sorry for your loss Sammiell, I didn't realise.
Lamewolf; 'wot no'? Sending you post CAMRA speedy recovery of equilibrium vibes.
Valli; maybe LW can invoke the spirit of some hard shelled creature (I'm thinking turtle, tortoise etc) during meetings for you otherwise you may end up looking like a porcupine with so many sharp implements bristling from your back! Alternatively, I find a good potion helps (tea is good but wine might aid forgetfulness) but don't go to any CAMRA meetings to get them!
Btw, Valli I'll invoke whatever critter you care to name - thinking maybe the Great A'Tuin (World Turtle from the Discworld books, for the uninitiated) might do?:D
Going now, honest..... ni-night.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
