hi everyone
I am going to try joining this thread again - i used to do it a few years ago but have seriously fallen off the wagon. MIght take me while to get the habits working again but at least by posting this i am trying to commit myself to doing somethingTodays list should be doable for the kids rooms (our room is hell on earth after 2 years of stash and dash being dumped in there) - i will have to leave that one until i am on a roll.
Here goes:
Thursday - Bedrooms - you choose which one
Basic Flying
Change the bedding
clear and clean the floor
Remove anything which belongs in another room
HHI (if you iron)
Deep Cleaning
Wipe the window ledges and clean a window or two
Hoover your curtains and blinds
Dust lightshades and bulbs
Decluttering
Sort tights, socks, and PJs rag-bagging any which have shrunk or are thread bear
Check for signs of moths and declutter any you find
Sort your stash of wrapping, presents, cards to remind you what you have got/need or do not need.

Morning all.
Hope you all have a good day x
Yesterday wasn't even worth me getting out of bed, I got kiddies to school... and laid on the sofa! Dh is on nights and I'm struggling to sleep. Couldn't do any washing as I have no wash powder. So today is catch up day (aided by energy drinks) I still need to...
Monday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar
Dust any fluffy surfaces
Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
Go on a cobweb hunt, is it dusty behind your desk
Decluttering
Sort out that pile of papers/magazines/catalogues and recylce what you can
Delete some emails, favourites, blurry photos you choose
Sort out a stationery or desk drawer - do you need all those rubber bands and envelopes
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Decluttering
Sort out a hotspot
Sort out all your vases - are there any to rehome-I only own 2!
Do you have any pet pest control you may need for when the bugs awaken?
Wednesday - Bathroom and airing cupboard
Basic Flying
Clean toilet, sink, shower/bath
Hoover and wash bathroom floor
Clean mirrors
Wipe any dusty surfaces/window ledges
Deep Cleaning
Give the tiles a good wash and shine
Hoover out inside your airing cupboard and wipe anything that is dusty
Clean your grouting
Deal with any mould
Decluttering
Is that pile still on your landing?
Sort out the airing cupboard rehoming anything you had forgotten was in there
Declutter one of your 'products' onto your body/face/hands as appropriate and have HH me time
Another HH on paperwork, lots of people don't have council tax or water bills to pay this month (usually 10/12 payments). Can you save any of this extra cash, pay off a bill etc.

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
DeclutteringAlternatively trim and paint your trotters.
Thursday - Bedrooms - you choose which one
Decluttering[STRIKE]Sort tights, socks, and PJs rag-bagging any which have shrunk or are thread bear[/STRIKE] x 4 peoples
[STRIKE]Check for signs of moths and declutter any you find[/STRIKE] None fortunately because I really don't like them
[STRIKE]Sort your stash of wrapping, presents, cards to remind you what you have got/need or do not need[/STRIKE].
I also hoovered every floor I hadn't already, hoovered the sofa, replaced the covers on one sofa and put the 3rd load of them in the WM. They are dry clean only but I've been washing them for years as we are a family of spillers and have a coal fire in the LR. I always end up feeling like I've been wrestling a big cream bear :rotfl:
I dusted and polished everywhere
I cleaned the hoover and replaced the bag
Returned mine and the neighbours bins
Opened all the windows whilst the sun is briefly shining
Decluttered two cups of tea
Think it might be lunch time, catch you all tomorrow. :hello:Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

Just checking you're paying attention Lamewolf
DS2 is a BIG turtle fan btw, I think he'll enjoy Discworld when he's old enough too. DD is definitely an owl, she keeps putting 'buy an owl and an aviary for it to live in' on my frog list
I don't know how old your DD is, but I wonder if she might enjoy this website:
http://www.theowlsanctuary.co.uk/welcome-to-the-owl-sanctuary-festival-park/
Fwiw, Owl is the spirit creature I associate with the element of Air; and my wedding headdress (which I made myself) incorporated some owl feathers, which were given to me by their original owner. I'll explain - we were at a country show, admiring the owls on display, and one shook herself and dropped a couple of feathers near me, and the handler said I could have them.:o
Two pairs of Mr LW's work trousers (the thick ones, cords), two of my tops and a small assortment of "unmentionables":D are out on the whirligig in the sunshine; so nice to be able to dry stuff outside!
I need to fling the Dys0n round this afternoon, before Jessie arrives; she's scared of vacuums so we do it before she gets here for the weekend, and again when she's gone home.:o
Mr LW has instructions to swing by @ldi on his way home tonight, as we're short of milk. I don't know where it goes to - there's only two of us, but we seem to go through upwards of 12 pints a week!
Dins is the 2nd half of yesterday's lasagne, so the plan is for Mr LW to nuke that while I prepare Jessie's dins; she's arriving in time to eat here, as it helps her settle.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Shopping done.
Sun is shining and OMG the pollen is blowing - hope DS3 took his hayfe meds this morning, just stocked up on some more and think I'll give in and take some.
WM is showing an error - anyone know about brushes - what are they, are they easy to change etc
Time to put the shopping away and washing on the line and then my friend with BC wanted to pop round, hope she is ok.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I actually seem to have got nowhere since my last post, over an hour and 2 phone calls later the accounts are finally sorted and while I was on the phone I started deleting emails. I hour and 1847 emails later... I have finally finished!
Better make a start on the bathroom.
At least our dinner is sorted, we have left over shepherds pie from yesterday, just the littlies to sort.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
