    Well given the options are

a full time BUT temporary contract
or a part time but PERMANENT contract with the option of supply

    that will do me!

Quick catch up, hi to all and welcome to newbies.
Pretty clean most rooms and fairly tidy - don't be too impressed as it's mainly caused by excessive pre-visitor sorting at the weekend and quite a lot of work the last couple of days so no time to mess it up!
Nice to have work at the moment as I'm trying to avoid listening to any news items as apparently they've decided for the umpteenth time that dyslexia doesn't exist. Presumably as an SpLD assessor/tutor I also don't exist or I will shortly be unemployed.................huh. The next person I hear calling dyslexia a "reading difficulty" will have me on their doorstep brandishing my heaviest assessment bag. And it won't be pretty.

Valli wise choice, and we get to see more of you, win win

Busy day with cricket nets but all worth it, lots of new people to chat to.

Last day to use my JL discount card tomorrow as DS2 leaves work on Friday so some concentrated shopping may be in order. DS1 has a phone interview for a job he really likes the sound of so it will be a day of fingers and toes crossed too.

    Morning everyone.

Just been caught in my onesie while putting my bin out. Amused my neighbour. Back to bed with a cuppa.

Shopping and lunch with DD today. See what I can get done in the meantime.

    Hello ladies,

Trust your instinct bossy. If you think a trip to the doc is in order then go. Hope Miss Bossy feels herself again soon.

Good phone call vibes for DS1 Dusty.

DS3 is off colour he came 12th in the cross country and was beaten by kids he usually leaves trailing in his wake.

No paid work for me today. I feel so tired I may just sleep after I've done the dailies. I need to keep out of DS1's way as I won't be responsible for what I say or do.

Lots of wet stuff falling out the sky. Not walking to school today!

    Good morning all

Welcome to all newbies and returnees who've appeared while I've been away.

Yesterday I pottered, sorted washing, slept for 2 hours in the afternoon (after a week's holiday!), sorted out and gave my presentation (with an excellent response :)) and synchronised diaries with DH.

Today, in no particular order, I *must*
    - pot up the hostas and water the baby hellebores
    - do the ironing
    - go to a U3A coffee morning with DH
    - write a proper shopping list
    - buy the newspaper with the Ald! voucher
    - go food shopping, remembering to use Ald! and Sainsbugs vouchers: in particular we need Welsh lamb and leeks (and a bunch of daffs) for Saturday :D
    - file some papers
    - try on my swimming cozzy to see if it still fits - bearing in mind that I've lost 3 stone and don't want it falling off me when DH and I start aquafit class tomorrow :o - if necessary, I can get a new one this evening (late night shopping) when I go to the next town to...
    - ...return my hired music scores to choral society, as I have decided not to continue this term because the pieces are so depressing: as one friend said, "It's music to cut your throat by!"
    - see what's left of DH's stuff in the downstairs bedroom and utility, then hopefully I can start stripping wallpaper in the utility next week (or sooner!)

Shopping list first, as I have a tick list on the computer.

    Accountancy-loving vibes to pigpen's OH.
We shall all enjoy your p/t permanent contract, Valli!

(((Hugs))), spoons as sticks to all who need/want them.

Giving big hugs to all of you, as you all seem to be having problems of one sort or another, with kids / works / bd etc.

Have drawing up a 30 day plan for when my overseas vistors are here..........everything from feeding swans / ducks at Willen, to Lego land (ekk at the prices) Cadbury world, wildlife parks, trips to various things in London, days off etc
