I had to check that I hadn't posted that message and then forgotten about it.

I also tried and failed to set up a regular investment in Vanguard LS 80% today, and also tried to trade immediately with the same (lack of) result. I sent them a secure message but looks like it's the same for everybody. Indeed worrying.

Not only that, but I sent off a SIPP contribution form to them and had to use MY OWN STAMP AND ENVELOPE (because I'd already used the ONE I got when I opened my account)

The contrast to HL is striking :P

:) ... ppl may joke about HL's envelopes, but 1 day* they'll be worth their weight in gold.

(*after a long bear market in gold, and many rises in the cost of postage)

I wasn't even aware iii had pre-paid envelopes. Shockingly, I had to pay for a stamp to send them my transfer form. However, when I factored in this cost, I'm relieved to say it was still cheaper even including the extra cost of a stamp. :p

    I didn't get one either!
    Do they have "preferred customers"?
    We must be told.

i got a pre-paid envelope with my II SIPP pack. they lost it though. so what turned out to be my third attempt lead me to invest in a stamp. i'm hoping they will manage to move my SIPP this time...

me too: I made a fund order on my ISA on the 16/04/14 and it's still not executed. I know it's over Easter week-end but I also find this worrying....

    Hi

A couple of my funds are "stuck" in my HL account and have not been transferred to iii. I guess this is because iii don't trade in those funds, but I have received no communication from either platform.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks

I wouldn't necessarily think it is because iii can't accept them in specie. In fact, I seem to recall someone in that situation stating that they had a fund that was automatically sold and transferred as cash, so they are probably just extra slow to transfer (- it took at least a month between my first and last fund).

no sign of holdings moving across from HL to II for me..

and i am growing increasingly concerned by II. their communication isn't linked up at all. have a conversation, and weeks later get a message online that makes clear they have no knowledge of the conversation. they must be struggling.
