Spend of £2.22 today - needed milk + rinse aid + bananas.
Made 16 portions of yummy pie for approx - £2.50
Always put LO cooked meat in freezer as soon as possible so it doesn't get nibbled! Then when you have enough for a pie - off you go.

Wow 16 portions for 2.50, 16p each you`re a Star.
I don't get a lot of left over meat as when I cook a joint I slice and portion up enough for a meal.but did find I could stretch a portion to make 4 pies but then went on SW so havent had any pie. but am thinking now I will just make the pie mixture and top with mashed potato and swede, not the same as a yummy pastry crust
though. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Edited to say just discussed this with a SW friend and she suggests thishttp://slimmerblog.co.uk/recipes/snacks-or-side-dishes/smash-pizza-dough-pasty-wrap/ will give it a go.Slimming World at target0 -

I really like Icelands Petal Soft, 3ply so quite thick and only £1
for 4. I live alone and a roll will last me just over a week. This is not a special offer but a regular line, have bought them for the ladt 3 years.Slimming World at target0 -
I'm a fan of the one with the Koala bear, and always stock up when it's on offer (rarely have less than 6 months worth in the house, and normally closer to a year). Last lot came from Costc0 when they had a deal on 10x4 rolls, and I bought 2 lots (about 16 months worth for me, DS1 and weekends with OH here). It seems to regularly be on an offer somewhere - I've had a couple of lots from Mr M in the past, and I often see it in P0undstretcher.Cheryl0

Given up the cereal bars and Morrys do 500g yog for £1. Was thinking about getting a yog maker from Lak*land for £ 20 and then LL Semi from Al*i but don't think I'd save much at these prices but will if go up to £1.40 again.Hi Everyone
Regarding the yoghurts, they do bump the bill up a bit so I do limit myself. I worked out i was spending over £20 a month on yoghurts and about £15 a month on cereal bars so you do need to keep a check on it. I make sure i scour mysupermarket as well as morrisons, iceland. co-op and heron to get the best deals.
We buy Nic*y from F.Foods. 18 quilted rolls for under £ 4. :money:Two days and nothing more spent :T

Couple small spends adding up to £10.61 to add. Have sandwich bits for 2 weeks now, minus cheese, so that's my lunches sorted for half the month.
DH is heading to the pub after work with coworkers, so I probably won't need to feed him dinner. Thinking about making myself a homemade pizza for dinner.
The steak and onion pie and the steak and potato pie with yorkshire pudding stuff as a 'crust' worked out really really well. DH even asked if I could start making the steak and potato pie as a regular recipe in our house! Men eh? Always preferring the stuff with no veggies!0 -

I completely agree with you. I have tried all the sava ranges and find Sainsbobs to be the most - ahem - 'comfortable'... having said that we use Mr A's as that's where we shop
