Spent just under £10 today...Apple juice, tea bags, bread, cheese and cat food but that is left over from last months budget! I would say I will be £10 up at the start of my May budget (starts tomorrow) but these are regular bits we buy. Still, I am saving these receipts!
Got a promotion and pay raise recently so the slight help I get has obviously been messed about a little, should be sorted as of tomorrow tho.
Hopefully I will end the month well under £250 but being a working single mum I like having a good stock,so perhaps aim to stock up this month at £250 and then spend less on top ups for a month or 2 then a slightly higher spend to keep stocks up?? Will see! I get the impression this thread is more about getting what you need for as less as possible but also finding a spend rota that is comfortable for you and your family.

For those that remember me ordering my tortilla press, I finally got around to using it tonight! The tortillas it makes are a bit thicker than I prefer, and don't really work as wraps, but they are flat, kinda like flat bread, just a bit thinner. Eating prawn fajitas tonight with a fork with these flat breads. They're very good, and still way better than rolling each one out by hand, so definitely a good purchase!0

Spent £4.50 today on chorizo and Parmesan. Used some for dinner and will find ways of using the rest up (it will be easy to use up the chorizo as Baby T loves cheese and chorizo sandwiches!). Tomorrow's dinner is beef casserole using beef from the freezer, the leftover veg from our stir fry mix (minus the bean sprouts) and a casserole sachet mix from the cupboard. Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0

Going to be joining you on the 6th now, and not the 9th (payday) as planned. I may be moving house on the 26th of next month, so not sure how the GC is going to go in May. Not done well in April, and still four days to go, and not many NSDs allotted compared to usual.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
