I usually freeze them and use them for wine-making, but you can smush them in a blender, freeze and use as banana 'ice-cream'....

You can also use them for banana bread!

Thanks a lot, that makes sense :)

I slice them and freeze them in bags, then blend with frozen berries and a splash of juice for smoothies, or blend from frozen with a little honey/agave syrup and/or cocoa powder for a sweet ice cream like dessert.

Spent £3.50 in Mr T - baking soda, YS bread and a bottle of Guinness. So that's me done for my first week :)

Went to Mr T today, and spent just over £21 of my budget - which is rather scarey for day 1 of the month as I declared my budget as being two-thirds of what I'd planned at the start of the year. But I declared that one to try and make sure I use up groceries that are in the house, so (as long as I don't go mad at the food festival I'm off to on Saturday, or on food for taking my 2 youngest GDs away the following weekend) I should be OK -- fingers firmly crossed, but it's not as if going over budget would put me into debt ;)

Main ££ down-fall last month (even though I was still within budget) was 'junk' food - mainly cakes and biscuits. So my spends today included some Fl0ra buttery and more eggs than my meal plan needed to allow me to do some baking (which will also use up baking ingredients I already have in and need to work through) - and I also got a cheap jar of jam so I can make a sponge sandwich or butterfly cakes (prefer jam to butter cream).

Biggest luxury spend today was a tray of 8 finest burgers! I got a few YS trays a good few months back, and DS1 and I have both been really enjoying them - but I'm now down to the last few burgers in the freezer. Got my latest money off coupons last week, and it included £1 off any finest burgers - which I didn't expect to use as they're expensive. But I discovered this morning (before I headed to Mr T) they're on a half-price offer, so £5 instead of £10 for a tray meaning I only paid £4 :T (And I also had a double points coupon I used today, as it was a big spend for me - total before vouchers and including a couple of bits from other budgets was £28+)
