  • Hello all, I have completely lost track this month with birthdays, easter, a break away and starting slimming world. My tally on the fridge says £357 but I am sure this is not correct as I have bought losts of extra's for presents etc which would not come out of budget and I think I have done some extra small shops not accounted for.

I think I am just going to have to kepp an eye the rest of this month, have lots of food in and start fresh next month.

Dh has got bored of money saving now so is less tollerant of my obsession, ha ha! I can see him glaze over everytime I list my spends, as a newbie to Aldi I am still amazed at my savings :)

I have vouchers to go to WW free through my doctor, I need to call them, I have lost a big amount of weight with them before but at the moment I've paid for a personal trainer who tailors work outs for me, plus goes through food diaries with me and checks up on how much water I'm drinking. Thank you for mentioning the OS weight loss thread, I have avoided up to now through lack of confidence but think I will come and say hello later!

Spent £5.22 on Mr A's Sava lemon curd 22p, 4 pts of milk £1 and 4 x cheap sandwich tins @ £1 each.

I'm off work tomorrow (and until Tuesday next week, yay :j ) so will be making Homity pies, quiches and these lemon cakes ----> http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=60477015&postcount=1075

I'm still within budget and will have yummies for the freezer for next week's meal plan.

Small spend on £3.50 on milk, tortillas and hummous in Sainsbobs, but will be buying the Mirror tomorrow for the Ald! voucher and using that at the weekend.

On the subject of vouchers, I get a vouchers whenever I go into Sainsbobs for £s off a certain spend. They're definitely using my Nectar card to track how much I usually spend (~£5 every other week) as I used to get £4 off £40 spends, but the one today was £1.50 off £10 spend! I'll hold out a little longer and see if I can get better than that!

Had a lovely Easter weekend with my parents, they always spoil us but my OH now complaining that we don't have all the nice snack-y stuff they have....

I spent €30.49 in SV on wine on Sunday, as hostess gift for my mum. Another €55.34 in SV locally yesterday as the weeks shopping. And roughly €25 in the farmers market on Saturday (3 packs of curry spices, lots of nice cheese, wild garlic leaves and a chorizo).

    I. Need to uptake sig, but not bad for Easter weekend. For us at least.

Another NSD. Thanks for the heads up on the voucher. I only needed a little shop (£20 max) but might as well stock up again! I can always put the overspill into mays budget!

Nsd today. Went out for dinner as it's my birthday, and bf paid, even though I thought I was paying!!

Nsds tom and fri too. Mainly because there's nothing I need, but also because I'll be insanely busy with work :(.

Children had mac cheese for dinner yest, and I had the los for lunch today. I only need to provide lunch for the children tom and that's it until sun dinner then. I'll eat really cheaply, whatever's in/needs using up.

I think I fancy spaghetti on toast for dinner soon...
