NSD today - am waiting until the weekend before starting May challenge. I only have £20 to last until the weekend, but have got lots of stuff in.
I have to go in hospital on Wednesday for an angiogram and I am really beyond terrified, so I am not feeling like eating and am just eating "picky bits", and Dd's are milking it by eating freezer rubbish!
We didn't have any chocolate in the house yesterday which is a first!
Love the meal planner Penny!
Hope you all had a great Easter Break - work tomorrow!Jane

I wanted to claim the eggnspoons as part of the Shopitize app; but i thought you coud buy more than one of the same item, and claim the cashback, but i think i misunderstood and it's just the one item. So i spent £0.98 x 6 with £1.00 shopitize cashback, so £4.88, then 2 x 0.29p on YS hot cross buns, 2 Lemon bakwells @ 50p each and lemonade x 40p (to go with late birthday drink (wine off Dad)).
£7.86
Hopefully no spends now til small shop on Thursday, as only slot i could find costing £0.50p delivery

Another NSD. Visited a friend this morning as it was their birthday. Already had the card and a little pressie sorted!
Then prepared the garden for planting. Made two wigwams for peas and runner beans. Then planted some onion sets, lettuces, carrots and leeks. Waiting a little longer to plant out the tomatoes, peas and runner beans. Hope it's not too early!Grocery challenge-

week commencing 21st April: Weekly shop total £44.48
I previously spent sometimes in excess of £100 pw which is ludicrous! We tended to dither around the sm every day after work picking up what we fancied, sometimes put it in the fridge and had something entirely different or a take away:eek:
I'm afraid I've become a bit of a MSE OS bore and I notice OH's eyes glazing over when I'm telling him of the week's non spending plans... still, he's in full support of this idea so glazed or not I will still ramble on :rotfl:
This shop included all toiletries, cleaning stuff, 5 bottles of cheap wine and food for the two of us, cat and dog.:money:0
