Coolio and the gang, I was going to go to Mr S, Mr T, Mr A + Mr AL, but stopped myself on the notion that if I just stop hating my local Co-op, I would be able to only (if I'm lucky) be able to get the things on my list.
Used DS'sDD's car (miles, petrol and time saved too lol) used my student discount card, picked everything up from my list except nice apples ( they were a bit "mingy") £28:41 spent, plus there was some sort of book stall after the tills, donation based, threw 50p in and took a book on psychometric testing!

Really proud of myself, if I had done the original plan, i'd still be out, harassed, stressed and bound to be miserable, but instead, i'm flusher, happier and back home in time to do everyone else's cleaning!! :roll eyes: £250/28.91

Still plodding on and within budget but kids are moaning because , according to them, there is no food in the house. There is a lovely home made chicken in cider casserole in the fridge, bacon, ham, gammon steaks, eggs, chicken breasts, beaded cod, hm beef burgers, baking potatoes, veg and fruit of all kinds, home made date and walnut buns, bread, hot cross buns, cheese, tuna, sardines, tinned beans, steak, loads of different pasta, rice, cous cous, bulgur wheat, old El Paso kits of different kinds, Aldi potatoes au gratin, lamb chops, mince, loads of Linda McCartney stuff (from DD2's brief vegetarian period), all sorts of tins of soup, fruit, peas and pulses, frozen chips and yet more stuff. But we haven't got pizza so it's a disaster of biblical proportions.

DD2 is going to her friends 16th birthday party tonight so has gone to get her make up put on for £15:eek:

Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Finished my sort out of food, and oh my word! I'm embarrassed at how much I actually have!! This is a good thing, as a year ago, I was a hoarder and have been trying really hard to change. Given that I'm embarrassed at how much there is, that's a huge improvement!! Only four things ood, still usable, so have been put on my 'use this week' shelf in the pantry. All food away from Xmas shelves and the kitchen side, so a productive day.

I now have a mental inventory of what I have, so when there are offers in store, I now know what I have/what I don't need!!

After all of that, bf is taking me out to dinner now! Oh well, the use-up starts tomorrow...

Mon a chicken/rice dish OH bought an Indian meal
Tues Macoroni cheese with ham we had lunch out OH paid
Weds Spag Bol we had the macaroni cheese
Thurs Gammon steaks we had lunch out DD paid
Fri we had shop bought Fish and chips OH gave me £10 towards them and I paid the other 70p

Don't know why I bother really but shouldn't complain as the meals we didn't eat will be eaten next month.

Blimey I have so many pages to catch up on! I've been AWOL for the past two weeks as I've been acclimatising to being a new mum! Fun times :)

Bf did a shop in my during my 'in between' week which we aren't counting. I have since done a fortnights shop and got it delivered - total spends so far £40 which is on track as I got a few stock items as they were on offer (washing up liquid, hand soap etc).

Will update my sig now and then try to catch up on a few pages!

Think the £100 to the end of the month will be more than sufficient if I stick to the meal plan....just have to make sure that I do!:o

Popped into F@rm Foods last night and picked up 18 Nicky toilet roll pack at £3.95 and 3 bags of sugar (3 for £2). Spent £5.95 - so spend is now up to £28.13.

Then found a 9 pack in the garage - so with 27 total, we're pretty well stocked I would say for 1 adult and DS! :D

Still need 4 Easter Eggs, off to find some offers. :)

Nipped in to tesco to get a pasta sauce as hubby has a marathon tomorrow and I forgot it at shopping. A few other things crept not the basket so a £15.11 spend. So much for me not needing to go shopping until the middle of next week!
