Spend of £5.51 in Aldo today. They had lovely large caulis for 59p and spring onions for 45p. I bought the Super Saver garlic as well + other bits. I was right out of fabric conditioner - trying Aldo one for first time. I sniffed all the scents before making up my mind.
Made 2 Smoked Mackerel Quiches today. We had some with HM wedges + cauliflower/carrot.

Another NSD for me
Using up some UHT milk as can't be bothered to go to shop...naughty me!
Hubby treating us to a Chinese as we've been busy all day.
Am trying really hard to empty freezer and stock cupboards as I've so much in. I made a list at beginning of year of everything we had, each time I buy anything I add it to the list and then cross off when used. This is working for me, as I'm using stuff up in list-order IYSWIM

Today has been another busy day, but good in that it meant an nsd! So that's 4 nsds so far this month, out of six days. Breakfast was porridge(!), lunch was crackers and cheese (with pickle, beetroot, cuc, tom, etc) and dinner was sausages, mustard mash and cheesy garlicky BBQ beans. Nom nom!
Spring cleaning going well; now have a sewing 'room'! (Corner of my lounge)
Just off to plan tomorrow's meals; just me to feed tom, so will be using up stocks.
Night all,

Spends now at £39.92 had to buy extra fruit & veg plus some water chestnuts for tomorrows meal if all goes to plan. Have some work men here though all day so just depends on what time they go if we have whats planned.
Today we had lamb done in the sc and it was so tender it just melted. Served it with a trio of mash(gone all chefie now lol) - read mashed potatoes, swede and carrots, some savoy cabbage and green beans. Loads of mint sauce and gravy on top. Delicious. Plenty left as well after mum took some home so will get it into the freezer tomorrow in tubs covered with gravy. Should be at least 3 portions left if not more. Am wondering if the lamb will still be on offer on Tuesday if so will go and get a
couple more joints of it while it is only £4 a kg from A$da.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
NSD here too! Have been planning the week's shop with mysupermarket, relieved to see Sainsbugs is cheapest for what I want as I'm not in a mood for walking miles this week.
Had harissa aubergine with baked egg for brunch and pitta bread with YS potato salad for tea. Found some sausages I'd forgot I'd bought so got to fit them into the weeks menu, might do a breakfast-for-tea style thing with sausage and egg and beans.New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Evening everyone
Very late to the party, but can I go down for £400 again for April, please?
Slight overspend for March, but better than most months.. I have a full to bursting pantry, but almost empty freezers, so am using up some pantry stuff first this week.
Thanks to those who run the thread, off to the beginning!
