got the figures from dh - £200 spent since Sunday!!:eek::eek: Vast majority of that on alcohol too...oh the shame!!:o
That leaves me £100 to last 26 daysthat is approx. £3.85 per day and the cupboards and freezers are not particularly healthy from my initial glance today, but will complete proper inventory tomorrow and see what I can do....no choice either way - kids will just have to put up with the weird and wonderful stuff I come up with or buy their own!!;)
On the plus side, I do have reasonable stocks of pasta and pasta flour, polenta, rice, onions and tinned tomatoes, plus a beef joint and two chickens (although one of them may have to be for the dog as her digestive system hasn't been great over the past few days) so pretty confident that I will manage itMortgage 12.12.12 £55842 12.12.13 £42716 14.12.14 £28837 13.12.15 £25913

NSD yesterday.
Multiple tractors have arrived at the paddocks next door so DH and I are going out for the day. There is a large auction in the next town, so thought we would have a rummage around. Hopefully the noise and dust will disappear by the time we get back home. t least I didn't put the washing out!0 -
Spend of £38.32 in t today. More than I thought it would be, but all good stuff, not things you can't even make a meal from!
Said goodbye to the children today, for eight sleeps. They're off on holiday with their dad for a week, so I have started the spring cleaning. Did the weekly shop as well as starting to sort out the house. Found lots of random goodies the cupboard under the stairs, and I now have enough porridge to last at least two months, if I have it every day!
Total now £82.29/150. Higher than I wanted it to be by this point, but still realistic...
Night all,

Could i be put down for £300 for April please. My month started on the 1st. I need to try harder as i went over last month. Mind you there were alot of throat sweets and cough medicines and pills thrown in with that budget. This month has started off the same too though, so probably not off to a good start.
I will update when i have been shopping today.
Good luck to everyone else.

Good morning everyone!
I am still in the middle of sorting out my stocks. I have found things I'd forgotten I had, things I have 8 of(!), and so much pasta and rice that they need their own shelves!! Once I've finished, and it's looking beautiful and stroke-worthy, I will create meal plan ideas for the rest of the month to make it as frugal as possible. I've had food on my kitchen side and on my special Christmas bookcase for a few months now, but with some careful jiggery-pokery, I will finally be able to shift it! I loves a tidy pantry, I do!!
Meal plan for today - porridge (!) for breakfast, muffins for lunch courtesy of the freezer, and pasta bake for dinner.
Bf is coming over in a bit to help with the spring cleaning, so I'd better crack on; you can't actually get through the front door at the moment, what with all of the old shoes I found in the cuts!!
Have a great day, whatever you're doing
