Hi, I tried logging in to the Santander Intermediaries page but it didn't work, does this only work for mortgages through a broker?

My reference is 22 numbers long, sound right?

We had our phone interview on 9th June (2.5 hours long!), still waiting for news. I've rang them once but they didn't have an update.
No. It's two letters and seven numbers, then the password is your current postcode.

Have you made an appointment at a branch? I would suggest you call and say you've had the pre-appointment telephone interview and now need to make a branch appointment.

I did this and had to travel quite far to a branch so I could have an appointment sooner than 2 or 3 weeks.

What did they tell you was the next step on the 9th June? That's quite a while for nothing to be happening.

Sorry I have forgotten some of the dates, but the process went like this:

Early May, went into branch, spent about half an hour on affordability calculator and some eligibility/ID stuff. Process started and was told application form would be emailed to us.
Filled in application form and returned it 23rd May. Was called back not long after and date was arranged for credit check.
29th May, had the call to do a credit check, all OK so passed to next stage.
9th June was the long phone interview, with lots of "MMR" type questions.
17th June I rang and they have everything they need.
    Now waiting....

Seems we're all in the same boat, Had an offer on a house accepted in March, still waiting for the application to be approved. The person who lived there before unfortunately died and her estate is in probate, apparently in cases like these exchange of contracts is within 4-6 weeks, 12 weeks later, I'm no closer to owning the property. I'm just frustrated with the whole thing.

I've never had the pleasure of using such a useless company in my life, If they pull their finger and get this sorted, then once the fixed rate term ends I'll happily never use and actively discourage others to use them.
