Abbey/Santander application - Delay

So thought I would update where I am with Santander.
We submitted full app on the 27 March. Passed to underwriters on the 1 April and we today have had requests for further info.
When we applied for the mortgage explained to the broker that my partner isn't showing on electoral roll on credit files but here is a letter from the council confirming they have add him to it. Only lived in our current home a couple months! . Anyway Santander are saying they wont accept he is on electoral roll until it shows on credit report? Seriously surely the council confirmation is enough? We are now trying to contact Experian and seeing if they can add him but no luck so far.
They also asked for confirmation I dont own any shares in my employer. Tried to explain that they are an LLP so there are no shares for the business and as an employee I have no entitlement to profits but I need a letter from my employers confirming this.
Also annoying that this will mean its atleast another week until we hear we anything and thats if we get Experian to update my partners credit file.
Very frustrating process so far I must admit!0 -

Just more evidence of income - most recent payslip as it had ticked over to a new month...FINALLY valuation is booked. Everything crossed for this and we should have official hard copy offer by the end of the week.
Whoo hoo! I can't wait until my survey is booked... then I feel I can relax a little?!
(maybe thats just my naivety of being a FTB?!)Santander was very quick in the end it took longer than it should due to my useless broker. We supplied a new payslip but only as it had rolled into the next month by then I am not even sure it was requested by Santander.
I'm hoping once things get past survey, things will move quite quickly for me too... I'm a FTB, and there is no onward chain....!0 -

Thanks James we have sent an email to the address with the information from our local council confirming he is on the electoral roll.0 -
I'm panicking now. Valuation was done at 1pm today. The Mats system still does not show it was even booked in let alone updated to say it was ok. Aaaggghhhh losing the will to live.0

Just a quick heads up. I cannot confirm this, but our mortgage advisor informed us that Santander use Equifax as their credit reference agency. My partner and I have had major issues getting our Equifax credit reports updated via their online support portal.
When dealing with Equifax ensure you have submitted the proof (i.e. a scanned letter from the council) to the portal and then speak to them over the phone and quote the support reference number. Explicitly say "You wish to escalate and fast track this change to your report with head office". Once they confirm it will be fast tracked it will take a couple of days to pull through to the report.
It's taken my partner and I weeks to get our credit reports updated, we had various bits of information missing or incorrect. We generally found Experian to be much more correct to begin with and more helpful when it came to updating.
Best of luck! We got our AIP last night from our MA and our application should have been submitted to Satander today.0 -

Check ASAP. The reason ours was delayed was because docs we thought were submitted middle of March didn't until over a week later and that was only when I chased again and asked for the case no. Did they realise their mistake!0
