Lovely aprons Florenceem. I bought some material with dogs on to make a little apron for our dog mad GD but as with most things, I just haven't got round to it yet.

Your aprons are lovely.
Did you get the pattern on line?
I could do to make a couple of aprons. I did make one over a year ago in Cath Kidston oilcloth but I need to make some cotton ones really.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Oooh thanks for that, never sewed using a "proper" pattern before & I'm getting to the stage where I feel up to giving it a shot so I'm looking for something basic but adaptable iykwim so will have a nosey. Fab, I will have to dig out the old jeans I have stashed to make that denim apron I've been procrastinating over for about a year now. Years ago I bought a denim apron for my dishwasher/hubbie as he got soaked when washing up and it's great & I keep pinching it.Florenceem wrote: »Made apron number 3.

I have just washed a bag of vintage linens - napkins, dressing table sets etc. Have to think what I can make with them. There are some marks which haven't come out in the wash but lots of usable bits.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Most thin dies will cut fabric too but cotton has to be backed with a lightweight vilene (sp?) or similar and felt needs to be coated with a stabiliser. I have an E-Bosser which happily cuts several of the same shape at one time.0
