8 years - that's a very long walk, not sure if it's worth it just for a night on the tiles.....

I had to read that twice to get it, hee hee hee hee
  • Absolutely swear by drinking as much water as you can before going to bed (force yourself to drink at least 3 pints of water). Whilst you may find the need to go to lav during the night this almost always keeps my hangover at bay. If you still feel a little bit ill the next day then the most sensible thing (although it may not sound like it) is a great big fry up. The grease and stodge helps soak up all the remaining alcohol.

What I usually do is drink loads and loads of water before bed, take a multi vitamin and some ibuprofen. In the morning, again, lots of fluids, one of those rehydration sachets, a banana and some toast!

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with a fryup!

Iron Bru from a glass bottle not a can (not sure why but makes a difference)and a crispy white roll with a slice of black pudding and tomato sauce.

Follow up with a mug of milky tea with sugar.
