Hi All, help please!
Thanks!
J
- Received a £75 (less if within 14 days) charge on windscreen for non-display of ticket last november
- Charge notice invited appeals which would be acknowledged within 14 days. Charge would then be held until decision made.
- Appealed immediately via email but no reply whatsoever. (Email address was correct etc.)
- 3 months later, I receive a letter demanding £75.
Thanks!
J

You should really have waited until you received the ntk but never mind
Which Parking company?
I would write back, state you have previously appealed and that unless they provide you with a popla code you have nothing further to add. They have most likely just "lost" itProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
Is this England or Wales ?When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.

I just didn't buy a ticket so got what I deserved. However I still appealed.
Why would they have lost the POPLA code? Might asking them for this be the way forward then??
Otherwise I was just going to make a much reduced offer, pleading poverty.
PS this is in England
Thanks for all your help!!

England,
Thanks!0 -
Demand a 10 figure popla verification code, and double check your rejection letter for itWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

You dint get what you deserved at all.
They would have lost it as it costs them money.
Dont even think about making a reduced offer, you need to get a grip of your senses
You need to write back advising that you have previously appealed and if they have declined your appeal to provide you with a Popla codeProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
I see,
Obtaining a POPLA code costs them money? Should they have done this already then or is it only on request? The 'Info on Appeals' section seems pretty open to offers for a code - wouldnt this mean they have no problem in obtaining one if need be?
Stroma - What rejection letter is this?
Apologies for my ignorance in this area. Besides that I wouldn't normally be so ready to cave in but I figured this time I basically didnt have a leg to stand on. Would my original appeal letter count against me?
Thanks again,,

So...out of interest, what happens if they reply with a POPLA code?
