My husband and I are cheeseaholics. We currently have about 25 varieties in the fridge. I love Cornish and Somerset Brie, I prefer the taste to French. It has a few less calories than others but thank god cheese is low carb.
    My weakness is blue cheeses,

Disaster! My trousers kept falling down today. :rotfl: * They are casual loose fitting with an elasticated waist. Looks like another trip to the charity shop.

I threw away my bra extenders today because I don’t need them any more. :D. Looks like another trip to Clark’s Village which has a big M & S. CV by the way is a huge Shopping Outlet Village near Glastonbury if you haven’t heard of it.

    * I was in the house at the time

That`s impressive Murphybear, we have a designer village near me, seldom go there.

We low carb, but that doesn't mean no carbs. Doing Michael Mosley's 5:2 has given us a great pattern of eating. I lost 2 st on five months and OH lost three, he still has two to go.

Bread and potatoes are fine occasionally, but think about portion sizes. Ours were just far too 'grnerous'. That weighing scale is our friend, especially when it's the odd pasta, potato or rice included meal.

Banning nothing means we've stuck to this way of eating.

Clark’s Village is very good and since we moved to Dorset we are a lot closer. We always go on a Thursday because there is a big street market on the road just outside. It has a huge cheese stall and I just can’t resist :D

I fell off the wagon slightly today. We went to an Indian restaurant for lunch and I ordered one of my favourite dishes, Tandoori mixed grill. It is virtually carb free. It comes with salad and I order poppadums because they are very low carb. Unfortunately it came with their home made naan bread which was round and smallish and was divine. We shared it so it wasn’t too bad

We had leftovers and I took it home and gave my chicken to the cat

    There’s always tomorrow

I like, : gnom-gnom.com, alldayidreamaboutfood.com, lowcarbyum.com, there are loads of others, I save them on copymethat.com, then meal plan adding all to my planner, and shopping list, then go through removing what I have in stock and often there is a sub for an odd item.

Thanks for that. copymethat sounds great but it seems that Apple won’t support it any more on iPad which what I use. I gather that there are other recipe collecting apps so I’ll have a look.

I’ve got recipes all over the place, it would be great to have them all in one place. :D

If anyone likes peanut butter I think this may be one of the lowest carb ones out there - Whole Earth with mixed seeds is 4.6 gr of carbs per 100 gr + no added sugar. A bit expensive at full price but I got some on offer for £2.50. Only trouble is I finished it off too quick as its so nice.

Finally spotted the peanut butter in B&M, £2 smooth or crunchy, now not sure if it has mixed seeds.
