I appreciate this might seem a silly question, anyway 🙂
The 5:2 diet is a very popular and apparently a pretty sucesful diet so I'm wondering could it be turned into a low carb 5:2 diet meaning 5 days low carb and 2 days normal diet. Or is that just wishful thinking?

I don`t think so, this explains it so much better than I can

I'm currently combining the 5:2 with low carb, although not in the way that you suggest. I'm just restricting myself to roughly 500 cals on two days a week.
Too early to tell how effective it is.0 -

Why "yikes" PUP, what`s the thinking.
I don`t have milk in drinks, black coffee for nearly 50 years, I have a trace of milk in tea but only have 1 cup a day, sometimes none.
Maybe he's reacting to the higher carb content of soya milk compared to real milk.
Or it could be that, like most (all?) fake milk, it tastes horrible.0 -
Checked my facts and
Aldi Soya, per 100 ml, each Tesco whole milk
34 cals 64 cals
2.1g fat 3.6 fat
.5g carbs 4.7 carbs
.5g fibre 0 fibre
3.4g protein 3.2 protein
I don`t mind the taste, I take so little in drinks, and the egg custard I like the taste, each to their own taste wise, but certainly lower in carbs than whole milkDo I need it or just want it.0 -
I'm still here, quietly reading and learning from you all.
Have been trying to eat fish more often
I really must have a go with egg custards. I was thinking I might try either almond or coconut milk though.
