I'm still low carbing and losing weight but I'm starting to feel like the lion in the film Madagascar who started to see the other animals as steaks.
I can see a flock of sheep from my kitchen window; and they all look like potatoes.0 -

Great post.....been there:)
I have been very ill and in a great deal of pain so I have been eating anything that was cooked for me. Not so much falling off the wagon as throwing yourself under it.
Anyway pain better so back low carbing. As well as being ill I have felt so low and I know it is because of my diet. I always feel so much better when eating properly.SCP # 034

Been back eating low carb for 2 days, sleeping better, feeling better, long may it continue, had 2 days of chicken salad as I had cooked a whole chicken, still got enough for the dog and myself today, will have a think about what to do through the day, have enough homemade celeriac slaw for today, so may finish that with the chicken,Do I need it or just want it.0

Well if anything showed me how carbs affect me, the 2 week holiday in Greece confirmed that chips, bread and alcohol sit around my waist. I could see the weight piling on, thought I'd put on about a stone, turned out to be 4 lbs, but all gone to my waist. Couldn't get my jeans done up - 3 inches too small!
Back on the low carbing now (apart from rhubarb crumble, got a glut of rhubarb, but making it with xylitol and part coconut flour), lost about 1.5 lbs, hoping to get back into the jeans later in the week or next week.Make £2025 in 2025

I'd like to join again please. I had joined back in 2015 (I think) but I had some family emergencies (we have 4 funerals in 1 year) and stopped dieting. Now I'm heavier than ever and it is causing me a lot of back and knee problems -not to mention I can't bear to look at myself in the mirror.
my GP suggested a no carb diet. I have tried this before and I don't have the will to do totally no-carb, but I have done low carb with success (about 20 year ago). I kept the weight off for many years, too.
So here I am again ready to go for it.
I am 5' and starting at 74kg (11.653 st). The doc figures I can use losing 3st.
Is that even possible? and is that possible without having tons of lose skin?..............................................................................
