    Hi All,

please can I join? I've been low carbing for just over a month now. Lost about 15lbs. However regained like 5 of them over the last few days :o so annoyed with myself. I know its mostly water weight as i didnt even eat that much. Just toast, noodles, chocolates :rotfl: back on the plan today though.

Anyone got a good low carb stew recipe? im so tired of chicken salad, its so cold for it.

I would just do stew as normal but leave out 2/3rds of the potato.

Don't forget, if you are eating low carbs your fat intake must increase.

I was hungry early yesterday so had a small green salad with avocado and chorizo, for my main meal I had cauli cheese, it was at this point I found I had picked up extra thick cream instead of double, it still made a nice cheese sauce mixed with cream cheese, and a pork chop.
Today having roast chicken with loads of veggies.
Do I need it or just want it.

    Hi everyone.

PAmsdish - I do like you posting your meals, it gives me ideas. :D

Well I have been pretty good. Still struggling a bit in the evenings but on the whole quite pleased. Tried some Terry's Chocolate orange and couldn't eat it, it was so unbearably sweet. So hopefully my taste buds are changing. I find a square of good dark chocolate is enough now.

I did succumb to a bread roll the over day (circumstances and me not being organised). It didn't upset my stomach but it tasted awful. Far too salty and I could feel it lying in my stomach for hours afterwards, so again far too heavy for my digestive system.

I think I'm getting there slowly.......

Posting daily to keep thread going and myself a visual diary, plan to sit after lunch and meal plan for week in lieu of weather turning cold again. although it does seem a shame to waste a decent day indoors. lol.

Good that the sweet tooth is leaving you. I found the same thing. At first I wondered how I would manage with my coffee as I just couldn't take it without sugar. So I didn't have any for a few weeks until the sweet tooth went.
Now, I can drink it without sugar no problem :)

Keep it up. You're getting there! :)
