    Fasting today as well. Though that will go out the indow if I have to walk home from Motherwell to Glasgow this evening if the roads don't stay open..

    It's my second fast day today and I'm struggling more than I did on the first one. I saw a photo of a really cheesy pizza and now it's all I can think about :o
    I've got a couple of ryvitas for my lunch and also brought a banana with me, but I weighed it and looked up the calories and was shocked high the number was. So I'll probably leave the banana now and save those calories for dinner.

    Hang in there Fairylights - it WILL get easier as you adapt to suit your day and your needs.
    I've managed to lose 2lb but I think I will probably end up with 2lb off 1lb on & losing 1lb per week but that's fine. I don't mind if its slow just as long as its in the right direction!!

    Well my fast day yesterday went completely tits up. I had to make a cake for a relatives birthday this weekend and ended up eating more than a little of the mixture, as well as some of the offcuts from the finished cake. Really annoyed with myself for blowing it but at least I now know not to put myself in the way of temptation on my fast days. Like Oscar Wilde said, I can resist everything but temptation!

    You cook them after you've noodled them, 2 mins in the microwave, they really are like noodles...you can do carrots too, plus parsnips.
    Also I've used it for cucumber in a salad, not really keen on cucumber tbh but for some reason I quite like it when they look like noodles..

    Well first fasting day over - was really hungry last night, but funnily enough I'm not hungry this morning..lol

    I was going to make today my second fasting day, but I really fancied a latte this morning, it's only 88 calories (Tassimo one) but as I had an omelette too it doesn't leave many calories out of my 500 to consume.

    Will see how I go, I'm not beating myself up about it, there's always tomorrow!:)

    Me too. I had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch so that's most of my calories used up for the day already. I'll have an apple and some celery this evening. I've convinced my boyfriend to give the 5:2 diet a go as well, so at least I'm not alone in my hungry misery :D
    Having said that, This is my 4th fast day and I haven't found the hunger too bad yet.
