Weighed myself this morning and I'm now 12 st 3lbs so I've lost 5lbs already after 3 fast days! Really chuffed!:j
  • Hi does anyone know if it matters how you spread your 500 calories?

For example is it ok to have 5 x 100 cal snack type meals?
Or is it better to have 2 or 3 meals so there are bigger gaps between eating?

Does it matter or have any effect?

    Thanks

Doesn't matter, fine tune it to suit yourself. I save >90% of my calories for my last meal, but have spread the lot through the day before with the same effect.

Hello! So after a hiatus on this due to not seeing how it will fit in with my new job I'm back on it. I really want to lose 1 stone. My last job was easy to do fast days with but this one not so much as it's much more active and I now cycle as part of my commute.
I'm off today so today is a fast day for me. I've stuck with squash so far and planning on trying to save most of my calories for dinner. Not sure what to have yet!

I'm on holiday so not following it at the moment. Not really looking forward to getting back into it either!

Back on 5:2 after some slacking, eating junk and a lot of boozing resulted in a 4LB gain.

Haha - off to update my sig as a wekk's all inclusive holiday resulted in an 6lb weight gain!! (3 meals a day & alcohol ;)) I've eaten lightly since Sunday when we got back & have dropped 2lb so I'm going on a 6:1 on a Thursday & see how I go. I usually eat about 8pm but with plenty of fluids in the day. Hopefully I should get back to 'normal'.
Bye the way - I carried a lot of my weight round my middle when I first started last year & it was the first place the weight went from.

Somehow 3½ pounds of the 4 I put on through boozing and not watching what I ate have shifted in just over a week! The journey continues.
