:rotfl:that's ok.. I just had a couple of squares of dark choc.. :D

I've found that with the pink and whites.. maybe it's the marshmallow makes them go a bit soft. Still yummy though!

  • Amazing seeing all the losses on the chart for the Valentine's day challenge - thanks to 2b for the work on this!!

What shall we do for our next Challenge? I've enjoyed this one.

I'm still eating lots of fruit, veg and fish. Just seems to be what we fancy at the moment. Pleased to say that after the difficult eating weekend last week I have got straight back on the wagon. Have also been watching the Winter Olympics. Does this count as Body Magic or is it essential to actually join in . . . !!

    Have a good weekend all.

  • Did boot camp again yesterday, an hour of pure sweat, even the fitter members looked exhausted. Up today early for spinning. Have the week off and determined to use it to burn some fat. Small loss only this week of 1lb which definitely doesn't represent effort made and such a long way to go.

Has anyone tried microwaving their pink and whites? You have to watch them, and when the mallow starts to puff up they are done. Gorgeous squidginess

Hello, please may I join you?

I did SW back in 2009 and did really well with it but then stopped, and the weight is slowly creeping back on.

I have joined a local group a few weeks ago but I am not sure how useful it is going to be, going round the group discussing individual gain/loss doesn't really work for me. I think I have picked up far more ideas lurking on here, and the always helpful summary makes you think. Worth a re-read every so often.

Some contradictions from group as well - she says you can't stockpile your syns for the weekend? I always did and I lost 2 stone in 2 months last time. I have seen that most of you do this as well with great success.

I tend to do all Original and the push at group is very much to do EE, and lots of focus on processed food which we rarely eat. I struggle with carbs in that I don't like most of them. Bread is my biggest downfall and I really don't like wholemeal :o I love being able to eat as much fruit as I want - a real change in mindset for me as I tend to restrict my sugar.

    Plan for today is

B: Bacon, scrambled eggs, mushroom, and HEXB1 wholemeal toast with butter (5.5 syns)
L: Carrot soup (HM - need to work out syns)
D: Boys have asked if we can have the raclette out so Pork, beef, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, cheese HEXA1 and potatoes HEXB2.

    Snacks: Fruit

    Morning everyone.

I was too ashamed to post last night after yesterday's debacle, but if I don't, then I will lose control altogether - my syns have to be there in black and white for me to acknowledge them.

    So, review of Friday's plan

Breakfast: cereal with hexa milk and fruit
Lunch: out - will try to be careful, honest! Ha, ha - no chance it all started here - fish in crumbs - boo, peas - ok, chips - boo hoo, tartare sauce - boo, coffee & walnut cake - booboo
came home, no one in so I had a Lidl mint arctic biscuit - boo

Dinner: chicken kebabs, SW chips and dip, ML yogurt with pear and apple couldn't be bothered cooking so I had a big plate of vegetable broth :A
Then, as I was home alone I had - speaks very quickly now so it won't sound like much - 2 shortbread fingers, a Gold bar and the toasted outsider of a Scottish plain loaf with lots and lots of butter smiley-devil01.gif

Anyway, starting again - thanks everyone

Saturday's plan - football match today

    Breakfast: WW strawberry tart yogurt
Lunch: last of the broth, bacon sandwich, tomatoes
Dinner: hmm that's a toughie, I'd like it to be cheesy ham pasta bake, but it is more likely to be a curry shared with OH, a) because it will be after 6 when we get home, feeling hungry, lazy and no doubt scunnered by the result, and b) because OH has been asking for a 'proper' curry for ages

Well done all you losers, hugs if you need them. Thanks again 2b, for keeping the chart for us.

ETA I remembered I also had a potato scone (but it was naked!)

I've really lost the plot this week! Too many syns again yesterday.

Went out for breakfast this morning which was full of syns - sausage 4; black pudding 3; everything cooked in oil 3? Didn't eat the hash browns. So 10 syns already. 1 large slice of toast HEB.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day.

Lunch will be HM butternut squash soup
Dinner will be La Potee (a French stew) with pork, loads of veg, white beans & chickpeas.

So at least lunch and dinner are free foods. Will leave the alcohol syns alone today!!!

    Morning all..

    Welcome datlex and hex2

Hex2 - i'll be watching your menu's with interest - I struggle with original days but try to do them just to cut out the refined carbs a bit (although i'm treating myself to a green day today!)

Helen - amazing workouts. I know lots of people don't lose as quickly when they are exercising so don't be too put off, they see inch loss instead. It may be to do with muscle building ??

    So my menu for today

    B - missed it
    L - egg mayo(1) rolls (heb) thanks again mumoftwo:D crisps(4.5)
T - chicken enchilada lasagne (hea) with salad, cheese (hea)
S - HM potato crisps, cheese(heb), salsa, milk in tea (hea)

    Have a good day xx
