Question!!!!!!!!!!
When are you wobbling??? You are doing fantastically well! You have lost nearly the same as me and you started 6 months after me!
Don't be so hard on yourself - you are doing AMAZING!! xx
I agree, mildredd, you're doing amazingly well.:A I think you're probably going through a bad patch at the moment with the gall bladder issues so it's a miracle that you're still trying to hang on to SW. Just do your best.:)
I know how you feel though I feel much slinkier this week and have only 0.5 lbs off. I swear every time I look at my stomach it has shrunk a little more!!
Folks - I have an announcement!!! - I may be trying the world of online dating!!!! I might need my head looked at but as I'm feeling much better about my appearance I just might give it a shot - you never know. I'm a big believer in that there is somebody out there for everybody xx
That's two NSVs (three if you count the gym as well), well done!:T
Anyone having a problem getting spaces between paragraphs in posts? Seems not to work then huge gaps appear.:mad:0 -
Thanks Maman!
I'm having lots of typing issues at the minute!!
Thanks for your kind words! Yes I'm feeling quite positive at the minute which is great as the black dog comes to visit me frequently!
I hope this encourages some of the newbies to keep at it! If I can do it anyone can!0 -
For the last two weeks or so all I've done is graze on crap through out the day -picking at crisps/biscuits/chocs then I spend the weekend basically success expressing and drinking gallons of nas squash.
Just not doing it properly and annoying myself coz I don't seem able to stop myself from scoffing

Good luck with online dating latanna!
Made THE most awesome lasagne yesterday! Syn free (plus a HEA if you put cheese on top, which I did and it made it more special). Made a beef one for DH and a quorn one for me and we both thought it was luscious!
Recipe to serve 4
500g pack extra lean minced beef (or quorn mince)
Large onion, finely chopped
2 x cans chopped tomatoes
5 tbspns tomato puree
2 tsp oregano (I used the Schwartz Garlic Italian seasoning instead)
1 tbspn beef bovril (I used chicken because I didn't have beef!!!!)
300g butternut squash flesh, cut into small cubes
1 tsp sweetener
300g pot low fat natural cottage cheese
200g fat free natural yogurt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Nutmeg
10 lasagne sheets
* not in recipe, but I also added mushrooms and chilli flakes*
1) Dry fry beef over a medium heat for 5-6 mins or until brown. Drain off any liquid.
2) Add onion, veg, tomatoes, puree, herbs, bovril, sweetener (and chilli if using). Reduce heat and simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
3) Meanwhile, blend the cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs and nutmeg until smooth.
4) Spread half the mince mixture over the base of an ovenproof lasagne dish, then top with half the lasagne sheets. Repeat with the rest of the mince and lasagne sheets then spoon over the cottage cheese mixture. Bake for 35-40mins on 190/gas5 or until bubbling. At that point I put the cheese on and put back in the oven for about 10 mins.
I halved the ingredients to make 2 lasagnes to feed 2. We had the leftovers for lunch today with the rustic oven chips and peas.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi, I was wondering if I could join in with your thread?
I'm MrsBillious, I'm a 33yr old stay at home mum, who weighed in at 19st 1lb last November when I started slimming world! I'm now 17st 13lb :j still a long way off target, but closer than when I started!! (I've also lost 4inches of my waist and 3of my hips).
I've hit a bit of a lull at the moment! Only lost 1/2lb on Tuesday night, I feel I'm getting a bit tired of fruit, and muller light, so have found myself grazing!! I know what my faults are, but getting the mind back on track is a bit problematic this week!! Just typing this now, though, is helping!
Thanks for reading0 -

Your very welcome - You'll get great support and help here x0 -
Hi everyone - I'm hoping no-one minds me joining either? Though I won't be going to classes, I'll be using the books I had before (recent, they have the EE etc in them) and weighing myself at home. Can I still join in if I'm not officially going to slimming world?
Also, if I can join in here, do I need to post up my start weight or can I just post in my losses / gains each week and add generally contribute to the thread?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Hi and welcome Mrs Billious and Shortie
It's a very supportive thread - post as little or as much as you want; weight, meal plans, questions, rants etc.
I don't go to class, doing it on my own through info found online and the printouts I made last time I joined SW. I tend to read through once a day and post my progress once a week.0 -
Thanks SeaBee xx
