I mean to ask, someone mentioned a few pages ago about a kerfuffle with alpen light bars.
They're down as an HEB in the book, but should I be avoiding them or treating them as syns instead?
Alpen Light have now returned to their former recipe so are now HEB again. There is only one thing to watch for though and that's to make sure they say 70 cals on the front of the pack in case any of the shops still have old stock which had 95 cals.
Have eventually decided to go Green today!
Had a banana & Mullerlight vanilla with choc sprinkles for breakfast and have just had a toasted cheese sandwich (HEA/HEB).
Other HEB will be chicken in jambalaya (probably not enough chicken left in it for HEB really!)
As usual other HEA will be milk for teas.
Syns today will be 2 for a small amount of chorizo in the jambalay and probably 3 for a fruit split. Don't want to go any higher than that today as am probably already over on syns this week as DH won a coconut at the fete we went to on Saturday and I had a about 50g of that last night which was 9 syns:eek: - I knew it would be high but that was even higher than I was expecting!

I'm learning a sensible approach to food that ill pass on to her rather than skip lunch have 2 kitkats instead and it's all okay?
Meg there are teens who pop in at the end of my group and seem to be quite well adjusted to the sw way?
Tell that woman to piddle off none of her business and yeah she has an opinion but you don't want to hear it!? Put her out your mind now
+1.5lb today oops lol
Thanks love I wish I had told her to piddle off , I normally stand up for myself very well but I was totally shocked ,one minute happily chatting and the next under attack, disgusting? going to damage my precious DGD by making her anorexic?, I just caved and wanted to get away.
Anyway again sincere thanks to all you lovely people for giving me
reassuring advice.
I am just back from WI and 3lbs off delighted , that is for two weeks as didn't go last week.
Just 7lbs to go now to my target of 10stone by my birthday on 18th August, really think I am going to make it.Slimming World at target0 -

I think they are back on the list now, apparently they changed the recipe which saw them taken off but then they changed it back again, anyway its the 70 calories one you need to look for.Slimming World at target0 -

I didn't realise coconut was that high, when I lived in Africa we used to pour rum into the coconut and leave for a couple of days,
drink the milky drink with ice and then eat the nut, no wonder I had a weight problem.Slimming World at target0 -
Quick question please
Today I have had
Mushroom omelette and tomatoes
1/2 a tin of tuna in a pasta salad and 2 benefit bars
Superfart soup and melon
Milk in omelette and tea
I could just fancy a slice of cheese on toast, could I class this as a green day and just syn the bread as I'll have had my HEXB in tuna and bars? I've only had 4 syns so far today in a cup a rice and 3 level tablespoons of extra light mayo...0 -

Reallly not sure about this, but I think that's such a low syn day that if you fancy it I would go for it, looks to me like a EE day.Slimming World at target0 -

115g of tuna is a HEB so as you only had half a tin you've got some HEB to spare! So I'd just go for it!! Incidentally, I've been putting a splash of water in omelettes lately instead of the milk. Can't tell the difference.
Have a lovely break lantanna and enjoy the wedding.for not sharing your outfit.
b-e-g, I tend to only use my slow cooker for batch cooking things like Bolognese and chilli and cooking gammon joints and making soup although, if you read the OS boards, some people seem to use theirs almost daily. I reasoned that for not much more than the price of a decent saucepan it was worth it not to have to keep watching stuff on the hob. I'm not in that position but if you need a meal waiting when you've been out then I think they're a great idea. Hope the broth turned out well.:)
I've had ANOTHER off plan meal.Went out to lunch and ordered a chicken rogan josh. What came was more like a Thai curry, pale with coconut and after reading about coconut.
Will go to WI tomorrow night and find out the damage, but definite muffin top appearing.:(0
