Good morning everyone and I 'd like to tell you that I have at last reached that bl***y unreachable 11 stone, and this time I am not going back up it has taken me 2 years to get here that's only 6 lb.
I know I have only lost 1lb again but it's a pound less and I AM on my way back to my 9 stone. I would love to lose 3 or 4 lb but, it doesn't happen to me, only to others. I am trying really hard, however. I think my medication hinders me. So, I will press on with my day and keep to my menu plan.:T
Well done on reaching 11stone, I am happy if I lose a 1lb a week, its a nice steady loss and I have only 10lbs to go now so hoping to achieve my target of 10st by my birthday in August.Slimming World at target0 -
Hi everyone - I haven't gone missing - I can't get on the computer at weekends and we had a long weekend off which was lovely.
Happy to report a 2 lb loss this week - I haven't moved weight in ages so I put it down to going to the gym 4 times last week...I'm happy with that. I weigh in on Fridays0 -
Great news on the losses of whatever size!!:T
Delighted to hear you've got to 11 stone wiz. I know you've been trying so hard with your menus especially with fitting in some veg. Good to see some soup appearing again. Keep trying for variety as it often helps, that's varying your HEBs and syns as well as your meals. And I wouldn't be me if I didn't advise as much veg as possible. I'm always wary of too much fruit because of the sugar.
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: Satsuma and a few grapesbaked haddock, cauli&broccoli cheese, new potatoes and carrots
Syns: cheese sauce and scrape of spread on toast
I can see losing my holiday gain taking a while as I'm out to lunch a couple of times this week but I'll get there.0 -
Aloha.
Back firmly on track today
B - two boiled eggs, HEXB toast and an apple
D - Superfart soup
T - Salmon fillet, SW chips, carrots, broccoli, green beans, corn cobette
HEXA - Milk in tea
Syns - Butter on toast for the first time in months  Lurpak lighter, 8 syns worth, totally worth it. Options for 2 later on.
Tomorrow's planned menu
B - Mushroom omelette and tinned tomatoes
D - Tuna pasta salad with 2 syns of uber light mayo. Fruit salad.
T - Superfart soup with either a couple of pork medallions or some SW chips
Does anybody know the syn value for a batchelors cup a rice please? Found these in B+M the other day, look ideal to keep at work if they're low/no syn...0 -

You're spot on with the bibs, I just use bibdanas as otherwise I get confused with 'traditional' bibs. I make them wider than they are deep and they cotton fronted but terry backed. The ones I made the other day are pink with a red polka dot and red with a white polka dot but I have other fabrics in tooand they are popper fastened. I wouldn't have a clue where to start with pricing anything I make etc though!
Yes that's the taggie blankets. They tend to come in 2 or 3 different sizes and the better ones are sewn 5 or 6 times so that the little ones can't pull the ribbons off. I particularly like the ones with a 'bubble' pattern in the fleece, they seem to be softer. My Grandson has loved his to bits (literally) and still, at the age of (almost) 6 takes it to bed with him when he's not feeling well.
As for pricing, have a look what they fetch on ebay, but I would have thought they would sell well at any local craft fairs/church bazaars/car boot sales you may have in your area. They sound lovely
On a side note, all that crafting keeps your hands away from nibbles of an evening......win, win :TI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
1 syn for the veg ones and 2 or 2.5 for chicken.:)
Thank you, they'll do as a keep me from the tuck shop standby :j
Free cheese anyone?
