    Well, what a weekend.

No news about my dad, which I'm hoping is good news.

My estranged mother has been stalking me via voicemail since we lost my brother though, 16 voicemails this weekend so far.

    So

    Yesterday:

B - Mushroom omelette and plum tomatoes
D - Steak, vegetables and rice
T - 2 bottles of wine at a friends  And yes it was 2 full ones as she was on the red and I was on the rose.

About 54 syns. Although, strangely, with all the banking I've been doing, I was technically not over, so, we will see tomorrow.

    Today:

B - Mushroom omelette and tomatoes
D - Ham and cheese spread sandwich - 1 syn for ELLC triangle and an apple
T - Roast chicken no skin, SW roasties, carrots and broccoli

Can't wait until my back is completely better so I can start exercising. I know it's unlikely I will have run to much flab in a week but I feel huge.

    Tomorrow

B - Mushroom omelette and tomatoes - loving these, HEXA milk in the omelette, tinned tomatoes, really filling, tasty with lots of black pepper and free :D

D - Leftover roast chicken and hard boiled egg on a salad. An evolution salad if you will :rotfl: followed by pineapple and kiwi chunks and a muller light.

T - Mushy pea curry, made with chicken, mushrooms and peppers and SW chips

HEXA - Milk in omelette and cups of tea
HEXB - benefit or alpen light bars

Body magic - Not much :(

    Syns - not sure yet.

The mullers that are vanilla and chocolate but with no fruit goo at the bottom are free, right?

for Shala - STS disappointed to be the only gain on the chart at the end of the challenge AGAIN :(. Still feeling meh with my tummy issues, really thought I'd have a loss this week but tummy says NOOOOOO as usual so feel like crying :(.

You are the only one - AFAIK - coping with food tolerance issues etc TIE and trying to figure out what your body can and can't cope with must be extremely difficult, without even taking synning into account.

I'm sure as time goes by, it will get easier for you.

    Evening All.

    Hope you are well.

Consultant, your comment reminded me that when I get up in the morning I often feel like that cereal advert where the man evolves from the ape. I wish a bowl of cereal would sort ME out.

Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water and salt, splash hexa milk, banana
    Lunch: smoked salmon hash
Dinner:spicy pork casserole, fresh fruit salad with 0% fat Greek yogurt
Snacks: very small square of tablet (site lists fudge at 2.5 for small square, so I'll count it as 5 syns), choc digestive (3 syns)

That leaves most of my hexa, so a couple of mini baby bels or a slice of cheddar with some grapes later.

    Total: 8 syns
Syns bank balance: 22 syns for tomorrow - I'm going out for lunch, so I'll definitely need them to feed my social eating habit.

    Good night everyone.

Lunch - jacket pot, tuna and beans

    Snacks - banana

    hea - milk

    What is speed soup?

Is it ok to bank syns and use more than 15 in one day if you use less another day?

I had a roast dinner today in a restaurant. Asked for boiled potatoes instead of roasts, gravy on the side and extra veg... but didn't get my request so ate roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and gravy… not sure how many syns it will be. Did an 11 mile cycle so hopefully that will help cancel it out!

3lb off for me please Shala - well 2.8 but I'm rounding up as I've rounded up or down all challenge :D

Considering all that's happened during, losing my brother and my dad getting ill and my mother being a pest, not to mention a fairly full social life, I'm calling this a win and I'm sure the rose helped matters, might have to build a regular wine night into my week ;)

    Speed soup is this:

    1 can mixed bean salad
    1 can green lentils
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    Handful of split lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    4 medium carrots
    2 parsnips
    Green, red & yellow pepper
2 beef or chicken or vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Simmer til soft, blend if you like...

I add crushed chillies and garlic and blend, I don't like it as a meal on it's own so have it with lean meat or fish or SW chips or use it to replace my after dinner fruit.

I bank syns, I know some SW people disagree with it, but, when I stick to plan, it works for me.

The only down side to SW for me is that exercise isn't a way to earn syns, like it is for points on WW, but I agree that it has to help, draw a line under your roast and move on to an on plan Monday :j

Not posted over the weekend. Have had a good weekend and didn't have anywhere near as many alcohol syns as usual - perhaps that's because I was at home rather than away in the motorhome! We didn't go away because the weather forecast was carp but really annoyed because we didn't get any rain until last night about 7pm! Spent quite a lot of time looking round DIY shops so suppose that was a bit of BM, which as most of you probably I don't do, LOL!

Only had 49.5 syns since Thursday so have 55.5 syns left for Mon - Wed which works out at 18.5 syns a day - don't think I'll need anywhere near that amount a day - just hope it doesn't stop me losing a little bit (I'm now 1.5lb from bottom end of target).

I've been doing EE all weekend as I usually do and today's no different!

    B - Magic porridge, banana
L - bacon & mushroom omlette, salad with FF French style dressing
D - Sausages (2), mash, green beans & peas. Sausages are local butchers sausages at 0.5 syns each (he still makes SW ones - ie less than 5% fat pork and no cereal) I think that's why I only need 2 sausages because they are so meaty!

I made some rhubarb & ginger bars over the weekend but they work out at 4.5 syns each! I had a couple yesterday afternoon. As I have so many syns left I'll probably have another one today. I gave most of them to my DGD (15) yesterday as she absolutely loves anything with rhubarb!

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge
Syns: sausages 1; rhubarb & ginger bar 4.5.

Will need to think of something else to have as syns to use some of them up!

Hi , good morning everyone. Well, I have managed to lose 1 lb this week. And I am now still 1 lb off 11 st again. If I can just get below 11. I know then I can get to 9st.
It gets so frustrating when I try my best, and don't have treats, and don't lose much or none at all. I read other peoples posts and they have treats and lose.
Is it correct to have any Syns as long as they are in the 5 to 15 allowed?
Or can you do without if you don't feel that you need them.
Anyway, I am happy with my loss, hope it's better next week.
    Sorry for grumbling again !
