Thanks guys!!!
Welcome Millionaire in Training, you'll find loads of support and encouragement from this thread, we're all in the same boat at the end of the day!!0 -
Thanks to all of you for the fashion advice and nice comments, I'm not very confident when it comes to clothes so thank you for your opinions, I really do appreciate it. I'll stop going on now :rotfl:
Oh, don't stop. I'm enjoying the fashion talk. NSVs are good! Will be posting more often, maybe with my menus if Im feeling brave enough.
Hope your new group is good becks. Do post your menus. On here you can get fairly instant feedback and suggestions, whereas in group you can give in a food diary and wait a week for comments (that's what happens at my group anyway:().
So when did you decide you didn't like to 'talk' mildredd?;) I'd never have guessed as you come across so chatty and friendly! Hope the pain goes away very soon.
Went to carvery tonight but it was closed (clearing up after flooding apparently) so ended up in Wetherspoons. Steak night so not too bad just chips and an onion ring I pinched from a friend. All the rest SW friendly.:)0 -
Maman - I'm actually really quite quiet and shy
to a point of avoiding going places alone where I don't know people until I'm comfortable and have sussed out my surroundings n then ill chatter away like a monkey
Do you think I can claim 1 hour in softplay as body magicokay i may have overdone it today but the pain was worth it to see my dds little face enjoying having a mummy who was giggling and running and crawling all over softplay with her without a second thought of what other people thought or said (actually quite deep that one for me) plus my good painkillers always kick in after 35mins xxx

Hiya
Love the dress Shalawelcome to all you lovely newbies and a big hello to all the old gang
I've been at uni tonight so i haven't been out for my walk today- and I've done a Free2Go day today. My scales show a 0.5 gain so im going to need to do something about that
Tried on my size 16 jeans and all's good there- will get a couple more pairs when I go to Meadowhall with OH on Friday. My dress is now baggy in places it wasn't previously..
I haven't strayed too far today. I've kept to 2 bars (1 Alpen light, 1 HiFi) out of the 3 per day allowed on Free2Go, and the three cheese triangles allowed. I have had a bag of Cheesy Wotsits but they were a smaller bag than on the app and I figure they were better than a proper packet of crisps! I'm going to be good for a few days now- I really need to get down to target soon!!
B: 2 x Tesco Wheat Biscuits (as part of the unlimited healthy extras of cereal, bread, crispbreads and milk) chopped banana, 3x laughing cow light blue cheese triangles, 3x Ryvita Hint of Chilli, ham, coffee with s/s milk
L: Glorious Skinny Soup Thai Fragrant Carrot, 2 slices w/m bread, Mullerlight, banana, NAS cordial
Snack at uni: 1 Alpen light cherry Bakewell, 1 HiFi light, small bag cheesy Wotsits, bottle of 7Up Free
T: (this was late- lunch was early hence the snack!) ham, steamed carrots, steamed broccoli, steamed sprouts, uncle Ben's Thai sweet chilli rice, sugar free marshmallows, cup of tea
So not excessively awful. If I was counting syns, it would be 36- which again is entirely possible on one night out! But my consultant suggested this plan so I could maintain or make very small losses which so far I have. I'm not eating rubbish all the while but I am relaxing things a bit and its working for me. I also know that if I want to lose a little more I can get back onto EE and be a bit stricter so yes I'm happy.

shala~~Love the dress.
Love love love the shoes
So so wish I could wear shoes like that.
You will look fab.
Shala - absolutely agree with Beanielou - the dress and shoes are really lovely. I also can't wear heels and have to have either flat or very low wedge.
Will be back shortly with my menu for today as just sorting out my monthly meal plan!

Well I put on a 1lb this week but i'm ok with that as my eating was all over the place. Theme for this week coming - try harder!
I won't be great in the shoes to be honest as i usually wear wedges not heels, but i only have to sit all day. OH can fetch all my drinks and food :rotfl:
Greentiger - well done on your STS..
Becks - added you - hope group was ok x
Hi MIT - nice to see you, join in with our challenge if you wantMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi Gelly123 – Welcome & Good luck - keep posting, the more the merrier
Shala - really like that dress, I so love navy I’m always wearing it – so much less harsh than black. Remember for years though it was so hard to get a pair of navy shoes and now they are everywhere! As Beanie says those shoes are fab!:T
Great work with the chart Shala – looks fab! Go on about the clothes all you like - we love it! The OH will be happy to fetch your drinks and food with you looking gorge in your outfit!! :rotfl:
Hope we all meet our targets! Would be fab if there was a lot less of us all for Easter!!
Hugs to Pleaseletmebelucky & Gelly - I can't even imagine.
Maman – Well done for only having one onion ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mildredd – I can be a bit quiet and shy as well until I’m comfortable in my surroundings etc. I have a tendency to overthink and worry about stuff that I do not need to be worrying about!! But I am working on this and am 100% better than I was years ago lol
Folks – I have a date on Saturday night! Remember I was saying about trying online dating - well I did and to cut a long story short we have been chatting for a couple of weeks and meeting up on Saturday. Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!! Anyway think I will go quite casual in a pair of denim jeggings, knee boots and a dressy top as we are only going to a quiet pub. I am getting my hair done on Saturday anyway so at least I won't have to worry about that!
Still a bit sore today but depending on how I feel later on I might go up to the gym later for a few miles on the treadmill. Mind you since I’ve started this gym malarkey my housework has totally gone to pot – with me being sore, tired or else in the gym - though I’m sure it will soon settle down soon and I’ll get myself into a routine! Well it would need too:rotfl:

Morning all
Well done on the losses folks:T and chin up to anyone struggling....
3.5lb off for me this week :j -so that's 2st 1lb since new years day AND it gives me my club 10 thingy..so it's all heading in the right direction (still a lonnnnnng way to go -but I will get there)
On the clothing front -I find that I lose inches from the squishy bit under my boobs (which is a good thing as I have a back like a brickie) -but then I end up with a bigger cup size  -mind It won't be long until I stop feeding Charlie and after 2 years GAWD KNOWS what will happen to them *gulp* ...."goodbye old friends" :rotfl:.
I LOVE ethnic prints with beading and sparkly bits, jewel colours etc -but when Im big I don't tend to dress that way as I would look like one of thoes old dolly loo roll covers my gran used to have :eek:or a a walking lampshade :rotfl:.
I love long floaty dresses etc too but to be honest I don't think I have ever really found my style -when I got down to 16s and a few 14s last time I was starting to try all sorts of styles and was getting there -but then as we know I ended up expecting my little munchkin and after then it went all t*ts up....
I have soooooo many clothes still in their wrappers that when I do start coming down the sizes more Im going to be spoilt for choice :j
Sary -I used to love decorating but now its just a "has to be done" thing- I will be glad to see the back of it.. it doesn't help that we are having to juggle hubbies job, the little fella, me painting and cleaning, hubby putting the furniture together and putting up curtain poles etc -so everything seems to take so much longer
Lantana -ooooh a new date -how exciting :T
Im not really sure what day to have today but it will be red or green-well I like my extra hexA in particular mmmm
Anyhoo -I have had brekkie which is a start...
1 oat so simple (hexAand hexB + 2 syns)
banana
although I would like it known that Charlie "helped" me with about 1/3 of it
500ml semi (hexAx2)
I will work the rest out as I go..
I have a Tesco top up shop coming this afternoon -mainly fruit n veg AGAIN -I can't wait to get stuck into the allotment when the weather picks up -should save us a small fortune (hopefully) not to mention the body magic
right enough waffle I had better get off and see what his lordship is up to.... he has gone quiet so I dread to think lol
Have a lovely day everyone and keep at it...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Well I'm back again having done my menu plan, got a beef bourgignon into the SC and made up a falafel mix which is now in the fridge firming up ready to be made and baked. Have got some boiled eggs on the cooker at the moment which will do for lunch today for me and some for DH for his sandwiches tomorrow.
I'm having a RED day today:
B - bacon sandwich (HEB1 + 4.5 for butter & brown sauce)
L - boiled egg salad
D - beef bourgignon, new pots (HEB2), brocolli
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day. May also have a HEA of cheese with my salad although not sure will see how I feel at lunchtime.
Syns: Butter 3.5; brown sauce 1; red wine in BB 1; large glass of red wine to have with dinner 8.5 = 14 - wow, still within syns allowed!
