A plus for today was going to the carboot and finding 2 pair of skinny jeans in size 12, almost new for 50p each, I was thinking to use them as an incentive, just trying them on every week to see how far I had to go, but one pair actually FIT, am over the moon, the other pair I can do up around the waist and get the zip up but they are a bit too personal for my liking.
But brilliant news on the ones that fit :T:T:T

I loved your post too. You post at as much length as you like, lovely to hear you sounding so positive and happy.
I can promise that when you get to target that lovely feeling doesn't go away. It'll be 3 years for me in August and I still feel great every day.Absolutely love this way of describing your jeans Meg :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I tried some jeggings on in M&S this week. Lovely and soft and stretchy but as you said ' a bit too personal'. I could have worn them but would have needed long/tunic/smocky tops but I don't want to go there any more.:D
I'll be away for the last two weeks of the challenge but as long as I stay in the low end of my target range before my holiday (starts 17th June) I'll be happy.
Thanks for posting your 'story' consultant. I do admire you coming back and losing all the weight several times. I'm sure mildredd will empathise with you over the gall bladder problem. Diabetes is only one of many ailments that can be triggered/exacerbated by carrying too much weight and you're so sensible to be alert to that. SW is the one and only 'diet' I've ever done. I'm one of those people who never put on weight when I was younger but lifestyle changes (mainly job promotion that led to long hours/inactivity/eating carp on the hoof/booze) resulted in me putting it on. Now I'm a SW convert too and feel quite smug about our healthy eating.;)0 -

Good evening all - you all sound in fine fettle.
WelshKitty85 - well done on your restraint when you were out. As a social eater, I'd love if you could bottle it and send it on to me
Top Girl, Shala, maman - thanks for your shopping/menu advice/suggestions.
There are no shops in our village. I buy from the fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer in the nearby town once a week and do occasional top up shopping there too (co-op and Lidl). I get a Tesco online shop for most storecupboard needs. Our shopping is much more expensive from the independent shops than Tesco, but it is much tastier. The greengrocer has a limited range of goods.
Sunday's Menu
Breakfast: beans on hexb toast, mushrooms, tomatoes
Lunch: chicken salad, mandarin oranges in juice (2 syns)
Dinner: lamb chops, saffron potatoes, mixed vegetables, Hartley's 10 jelly (0.5 syn) - as soon as i've finished the 12 pack of jelly, I'll switch to sf packet stuff
Snack: chocolate digestive (3 syns), apple
Total syns: 5.5 syns
Later I'll have something from hexa list and some fruit for a snack.
As I said, it's easier for me to stick to plan when no one else is about!

Evening everyone
What a lovely day it has been.
Have brought myself a couple of maxi dresses in a smaller size than I have worn for a few years, going to get a couple of maxi skirts for the summer as well. Will help to hide my knee brace I need to wear.
Also got a swimdress for my swimming course, feeling a bit nervous about it now as I am not a very confident swimmer. I tend to panic if I am out of my depth.
Back to food
B Cereal, strawberries hexb and hexa
L Mushroom omelette with salad
D Rice, stir fry veg and chicken
Snacks fruit and Muller light
Syns 7
Tomorrow going to try the spiced chicken from the fakeaway book. Daughter says it is lovely.
Had another attempt at the SW chips still not great, definitely think my cooker has had it.Weight loss since 6/01/2014: 70lb0 -

Thanks, I was quite proud of myself and really enjoyed the meal. I had gammon steak, with pineapple on top, peas and jacket potato with no butter. I used my syns on 2 glasses of wine. I think I found it easy though because I was out with friends I had not seen in a while, so was too busy catching up and chatting to think about food. Whereas at this time of night at home, everybody else in my house has gone up to bed, leaving me on my own to think about food, food, food. It really annoys me that I can manage all day with no syns at all and then I will blow it all in the evening. I have gone over my syns again tonight just because I have been picking at junk food out of boredom!0
