Morning all, slept badly last night, legs aching, various other aches & pains and my mind would not switch off. Feeling tired today as a result. Got ballroom tonight, will go along but not sure how much I will get done.

My daughters will be home from Uni soon (DD2 next week) so I'm trying to make things I love to eat before they return as they don't really like spicy food. Just hope I can keep to plan with extra mouths to feed (extra expense) and probably different meals to prepare as DD1 is quite fussy. They both love fruit so our fruit and veg bill will rise considerably. Also I expect we will be out and about more so more temptations to avoid.

    EE Menu:

B: All bran, cherries & )% Total greek yogurt.
L: Cod in butter sauce & savoury rice. Apple & Nectarine.
D: Chicken Curry, rice & prawn and vegetable bhaji. Banana

    milk for tea.

    BM: Ballroom 2 hrs

Just popping in with a quick question. Someone (sorry I forgot who it was now) mentioned making Chicken Korma using Muller Coconut and Vanilla. I thought this was a Coconut and Vanilla Yogurt (1 pot) but could only find Coconut with Lime then a Vanilla pot. Just thought I would check as DH is popping into Mr A's whilst I'm in drs this afternoon and I will be giving him a shopping list :D. Thanks for your help.

Will be back later to catch up with you all

    Hi All

I am sorry I have not been on, had a totally pants week, not going to go into detail. 1LB ON please Shala

Its totally my own fault, too greedy with the wine. Need to nip it in the bud, this is only the 2nd gain I have had since starting. I am away this weekend, last minute short break in a lodge so I fear the scales will not be kind to me on Monday either, I want at least 7lb off before my holiday at end of June & only I can do it.

I am sorry for just posting & running, I dont have the time to catch up with all you lovelies, hope you are doing better than I am & have a lovely bank holiday weekend. (Its not a bank holiday in Scotland but I have taken Monday off anyway). I will post my menu for what its worth.

    EE Today

B - Fruit salad, fat free greek yoghurt
L - Chilli Chicken, lettuce, peppers, cucumber, beetroot, fresh salad
S - Yoghurt & Banana (wont get dinner til around 7 so this will keep me going)
D - Eating out at venue, will make best choices

    HEA & HEB

    3 x Aldi SS Crispbread & LCL

    Today I'm going green again

Breakfast - wasn't hungry :/ full of cold
Lunch - Heinz curry beans (1 its 1.5 for the tin n i had half) on 2 wm
    toast (b)
Dinner - chicken supreme (3)(from a packet) milk (hexa) chicken (hexb)
    So 4 - had a coffee so 5
    Hexa 1- milk in dinner
    Hexa 2- milk drinks
    Hexb 1 - 2 wm bread
    Hexb 2 - chicken

    Hope that's right anyway xxx

Mrs_Ryan - have you tried mixing up your HEBs, as well as your days? Sometimes just doing things a bit different can make a difference. When I was near target but not quite making it I starting mixing up the days a bit more - alternating Red and Green days, although I know doing Red days can be very expensive so may not be an option for you? It certainly helped me. I very rarely do Red days because of the expense but do mix Green and EE.

Also try having a different HEB (or 2 on Green) every day for a week and also upping the amount of water you drink.

Hopefully some of these things might help!

Mildredd - looks like a good Green day today.

You are right about the HEA and HEB: You should have 2 HEB and either 1 or 2 HEA. I often only have one HEA on a Green day as other than milk in tea I don't drink milk (although that's changed recently since Mullerlight introduced the cappuchino yoghurts!)

I'm annoyed that I've had accidental green days for months and effectively diddled myself out of hexs lol

Mrs Ryan maybe try doing green days? Where super frees don't really matter if its not 1/3?

Don't be hard on yourself, these things happen for no apparent reason and you'll see another loss next week. Try not to think about how much you lose each week rather look at it over a period of time, so you've lost 4.5lb over 3 weeks which averages 1.5lb - I would have been over the moon to have lost at that rate - I lost my weight to get to target at 0.5 or 1lb a week.

It may also be that this week is * week or you have water retention, perhaps from doing more exercise.

    Thanks everyone :)
I do two green days a week now which is perfect for me as I like my Quorn products and I'm not a big meat eater- I like bacon and ham but that's it. I also like my tinned tuna- I looked into red but there's too much meat involved *shudder* I usually have Ryvita, Alpen light bars, porridge or Weetabix for my B choices. I might maybe try some soup instead- I'm not a fan of nuts or dried fruit so I might try that. :) sounds really weird but I have a slight bread phobia- I think if I eat it I'm going to bloat terribly so I steer clear altogether :o Bread was my downfall when I was big so temptation I think is less if I don't eat it at all if you see what I mean? I'm going to have a look at the B choice soups on the website and also add some Ryvita minis to my shopping list so I can aim for a different B choice each day :) today was supposed to be a walk day but I've just struggled to hobble to the garage so I guess no BM for me today! :( never mind. Thanks everyone Xx
Edit- just noticed that Ryvita Minis are on offer :) I've also noted that there are loads more choices on the cereal bar front- I think they listened to our complaints after the Alpen Light fiasco :D I'm going to try the Tesco Apple and Strawberry ones as you can have two :) also the Baxters soup that you can have the whole tin of is on offer- I'm going to get two of the veggie ones for my green days and two chicken ones for my EE days. :)

Don't worry, I've done it for years and only just cottoned on.:o

For those who don't like much veg but will eat pickles: mostly I have beetroot and Sainsbury's pickled shallots in spicy vinegar (much nicer than silverskins IMO). Then I tried Aldi peppers in brine (jar of antipasti) and liked them. Today I've had Lidl cornichons and found them really good. generally I buy my cornichons in France but these are much sweeter and nuttier. I chop them finely to put in burgers too.

All of these really help up the SF but also pep up the cold meats and fried LO veg that I often have for lunch.
