Lol Meg, I'm glad I don't go to your group :D

Morning everyone. Well done to everyone for losses :) Good luck to everyone finding the wagon again :)

On a late today so I'm lounging around before heading to work.

    Yesterday:

Melon, raspberries, muller light Greek coconut (1/2)
Couscous with leftover lamb, lots of different veg. Was SO nice!
Dinner was salmon with Philly and Parmesan topping (the bf also had breadcrumbs) with big salad and some paprika round chip things. Also yum :)

HEA was cheese, HEB caramel hifi.

Syns: I had a galaxy ripple! My first "proper" chocolate in 3 weeks it was so worth the 9 syns :)

My consultant looks fab, on my first night she showed the noobs a before photo when she was 4st heavier. I really like her, she's pretty friendly and engaging.

Mrs R, good look with your PIP assessment, hope it isn't too stressful for you.

Last night was stressful, had big chunks of our harling (pebble-dash render) fall off the wall last night outside our back door, could have fallen on any of our heads as we quite often sit on the doorstep. So now I have to find someone and the money to fix it. I could have easily gotten into comfort eating mode but I didn't. Just kept saying to myself: eating won't fix the harling, so just made a cup of gingerbread green tea (which is lovely btw) and went to bed.

I feel more positive this morning, I will deal with it. Our dishwasher decided last week to spill water all over the floor and haven't used it since. So that is two things, let's get it over with and give me the third thing to go wrong and be done with it. ;)

I can do without the dishwasher, so that is not too much of a problem atm. It better not be the washing machine.

Anyway. Here is another day of good food and being in control.

I think I am going EE today again.

B: eggs and sausages (2syns) mushrooms, beans
L: turkey stir fry with noodles
T: meatballs (never had them last night, changed the menu, had fish instead) and veg and pasta, yoghurt and fruit

    HEa: milk and philly
HEb: Kingsmill extra fibre loaf sandwich, will syn the extra slice

No ideas about syns, I am trying to keep them low as I have been invited out for lunch on Friday.

Have a good day all, be kind to yourself and enjoy your food

Ha ha meg, I'm glad you fixed that!

Well I'm posting early this morning because I'm excited and can't wait until tonight!

Shala, o guardian of the challenge, at long last I've lost! After 2 weeks of STS, today I lost 3lbs! Woohoo!
However, with 2 weeks of STS, it's really only 1lb a week :(

I also have to remember that my body seems to work on a big time delay and Sunday's pig out may yet affect this week - plus I'm out for lunch tomorrow, so no resting on laurels for me.

I'll be back tonight when I've calmed down :)

How much more do you want to loose to get to target? Remember it is also quite hard to stay at target so factor that it.
Though Maman is the expert & joedenise.Apologies to anyone Ive forgotten.

You are right to say it's not easy staying at target beanie, but it's a whole lot easier than getting there in the first place!:rotfl:Thanks for your kind words but I find this thread as useful as new people, it helps to keep me on track and there are lots of great tips and of course the good company.:)

I think a lot of it is about accepting that the default position is and always will be SW plan/healthy eating. You may go off plan for a meal, a day, a weekend, or even several weeks on holiday but if you come back to eating healthily then you have your weight in your control. Sorry if that sounds a bit evangelical, but we're all happy clappy people here!;)

Undecided about what to have for supper tonight. Still thinking about corned beef hash;) but could be a chicken casserole or fall back position Bolognese that I made at weekend. Plus I've got a piece of gammon to cook. So have plenty of meal ideas but not sure in which order.

So far I've had HEA milk and HEB porage, maybe a little stir fry at lunchtime. Then...

Great loss Greentiger (here is your little clap in true SW style :T)

After all the talk of corned beef earlier, I'm thinking we may have hash one day soon. Any good recipes?

I just fry some onions in frylight until caramelised and use half a large tin of corned beef ( for 2 portion dish) chopped into chunks then mixed up with cooked onions and a whole tin of baked beans - put that in the bottom of a pyrex dish - cover with potatoes - just mashed with a little of my milk allowance and heated through in the oven. Yummy and very filling. Had another veg with it last time. As the whole tin of cb does two meals I usually make two and freeze one - but it takes an age to defrost.

Reporting only a half pound weightloss this week. But have done so much exercise these last 4 days hours and hours of gardening.

Have a good week next week everyone.

Absolutely agree with Maman about this! I've had the most horrendous few days and am well above syns for this week but I've drawn the line and am back on it from yesterday until WI on Thursday am.

Ended up not having any breakfast so had a Mullerlight Coconut with hint of Lime, it was OK but nothing to get too excited about:rotfl:; much prefer the cappuchino ones, managed to buy 3 in Morries this morning but again Mr Ts didn't have any.

May well use some of my 2nd HEA on some more milk and have a Frappachino - and no I won't be synning it either:rotfl:.

Just about to go and check my beanbuger and roll have defrosted - if not I'll zap them in the microwave to defrost.

  • Lol Meg, that made me giggle :rotfl:.

Mrs_R I hope all goes well with the assessment today. DH has been moved from WRAG group to Support Group for ESA today during a Mandatory Reconsideration. I hope you get the same good fortune.

Saw some photos of me from behind today . I look a real fright :(. Thought I was looking better for having lost almost 2 and a half stone but it appears not :(. I have these weird lumps of fat that hang around my elbows and they are yuck. Put me on a right downer. Hope I get a good loss tonight to cheer me up a bit, but in the meantime I'll be cracking on with the arm exercises!!!!
